^ Eye Of the Beholder? (I wonder who'll be the first to recognize what I'm making a reference to.)

I had some fun with a cashier at Aldi today. My purchase came to $12.70. So I paid her this way, announcing as I went:

"Here's two of these ($5 bills), two of these ($1 bills), two of these (quarters), and two of these (dimes)."

Every Saturday, when the Twilight Zone is on, I look for it ('Eye of the Beholder') to video capture because the episode is not posted on Youtube (when I looked a few months ago) and you think it would be

we have a winner!!!!

My favorite episode of all the B & W old series, and there were a LOT of great ones in it.

Perhaps it hasn't been put on YouTube because it was re-done for a later incarnation of the TV series? However the remake did not hold water to the original.

I SO remember watching it originally half a century ago. As soon as I realized I'd "been had," I started asking myself "HOW IN THE HELL DID THEY MANAGE TO DO THAT" without me noticing what was going on? I still can't figure out how they pulled that task.

- I watched the episode and they are vague in the episode. There is lots of darkness and nothing is shown out right.

I took a glimpse at this remake and the original was shot like this remake. Details arent seen. You dont even think "hey they havent shown the doctor's / nurse's face"

Original episode . . .

Oh! so this was all about THAT episode in which some Vera-Miles-looking woman is suffering surgery to look like Kev Bacon above, and at the end a stumpy hunky Adonis guy comforts her while bringing her to a place with "people like them". There are far better than ones, for example, that in which a young woman is asked to choose to marry either the poor but nice guy who truly loves her, and the preppy polished posh guy who ends up being a drunkard wreck and ruins both's lives, so that she perpetually hauntes herself as an old hag dressed in black riding a horse to impossibly try to make herself make the right choice in a perpetual temporal loop... or that in which Jean Marsh plays a female android sent to a lonely guy on the Moon or something to him keep company.

Ah! 1980s early Catalan TV channel TV3 memories!

Another similar to that one was that in which a young girl is asked to choose between two models of perfection to shape her body according to the prevalent use in the society in which she finds herself dumped in a dystopian utopian future.
