This trip we both met in Boston. We are working out the details on who is traveling next; and we are not THAT close but not TOO far away either. We will be together again, very soon!! :gogirl:

Well us meeting in Boston was just the circumstances. It was definitely a long trip for Tom but from what he says, well worth it. :P

And thanks, we are getting along great, and can't wait to see where this goes!! It's going to be a great year!

Like Jake said, it was by awesome coincidence that we were able to meet up. The Friday before Christmas a buddy texted me to see if I would be able to take the next Thursday and Friday off of work to go to a sold out reunion show for the band American Nightmare... I gave him the only obvious answer, "DUH!" I was texting Jake at the same time, and relayed that information to him and he replied with "Wait... You're going to Boston for the AN show on the 29th?!" He told me he was going to be in Boston regardless, but wasn't sure if he would have a ticket to the show or not, but was really hoping to. Luckily, he was able to score a ticket from a friend (who, also coincidentally knew who I was, used to live in Richmond, VA, and we had some mutual friends... "Hardcore is a small world" he said. Haha). We met at the show, talked as much as the show would allow (Being so loud, it's kind of hard to carry on a decent conversation).

After American Nightmare played, 2000 people poured out into the cold Bostonian streets. Finding each other would be damn near impossible, and being as sweaty as I was, I needed to get back into a vehicle. We spoke on the phone trying to figure out some sort of plan to meet up and spend some time together, but nothing positive was being established by the people I was with, so we ended up just heading back to the hotel. My heart was beginning to feel heavier and heavier, because the chance of meeting seemed to get lower and lower. There was no way we could spend any quality time in the hotel room I was staying in (3 grown men, one 16 year old, and myself), and the place Jake was staying in was pretty much out of the question. All hope seemed lost until Jake said "If we get our own room, I'll split it with ya". Perfect.

I'll leave the rest of the details to your imagination.

Unfortunately, we had no time to check out Boston, much to my disappointment. :( :( :( I really wanted to see the TD Garden (where the Bruins, my favorite hockey team, play), and get a picture in front of it... One day, one day... But, Jake decided to take some time to walk around North Boston and shoot a bunch of great pictures for me. Much love. (*8*)
 
GAHH, Tom, Jake. This makes me so happy. You both seem like such wonderful people (at least from the little bit of internet that I've seen you on). I hope everything works out well for the both of you in the New Year, and who knows, maybe for the years to come as well.

Thank You jv2.0 I was born in Reunion Island which is a French Island, have French and Britih backgrounds from my father and American background from my mother:)....

Suspicious? Not at all. They all knew the deal. I couldn't stop talking about my anticipation of meeting Jake for a lot of the ride up to Boston. haha
