^ cool stuff. I saw that once before when I was visiting a friend at his college back in '04. We were drinking when I saw fire twirling around in the quad from the window. I thought something was wrong with me at first. We went out and checked it out close up. It was a pretty awesome visual experience.
 
The fire spinning is beautiful! But, now I'm really curious. How do you make those? What is at the end burning? How is it attached? Are you spinning wires, ropes, strings? What keeps the fire from burning through the attachments and becoming "missiles"?

It's kevlar ropes tied into a monkey's fist know on the end of chains. The chains have ball bearing swivels near the handles and poi heads too, so it allows for more fluid swinging. So I just soak the kevlar fists in coleman camping fuel and light up. I'm probably gunna switch to tiki torch fuel though, because the white gas (coleman fuel) burns really hot and singes hairs on contact.

NOT GOOD. I can't be singing my body hair before it all grows in.
