What you CAN post

• Images and videos of MALES over the age of 18.
  
• Whilst we understand that the age of consent varies dramatically across the world, this site is an Adult site based in the USA, and therefore we're operating under US legislation.
  
• We realise that there are plenty of other message boards out there that discuss males of all ages, and we further realise that it borders on the ridiculous for an 18 year old JUB member not to be able to discuss a 16 or 17 year old he finds attractive; however, as we are a message board that is part of a porn site, we really must restrict discussions of a sexual nature to those 18 and over.

What you CAN'T post

• Any image of someone under 18.
• FEMALES - if you wish to discuss females, the Straight & Bi Dudes Forum if you want more lustful discussions!
• Images acquired through illegal means, such as catfishing or revenge porn.
• Material on the Prohibited List

Images

• Images may only be posted of MEN aged 18 or over. This means that the images must have been taken AFTER they turned 18.
• There are several ways of adding images to your posts. As attachments, linking from your JUB Gallery, an external image hosting company or hotlinking (if you have the site owner's permission).
• Where possible, images should be linked directly from image hosting sites or posted as attachments to your post (which places a copy of the image on JUB's hosting servers). For the protection of our members, we do not allow url shortening services.

Image Hosting Companies - Although there are loads of Image Hosting sites available on the net, 3 of the most popular ones do not allow storage of and/or linking of adult images.

To avoid inadvertently posting yellow frogs, blue squares and other assorted witty images instead of that pic of your favourite porn star getting down and dirty with a tub of Ben & Jerrys, 4 yards of garden twine and his favourite superhero outfit, I would suggest that you do not use the following sites to store adult content for use at JUB:-

Many of our members use ImageBam.com, PostImage or GaySubmit.com (to name but two)
We recommend that you do your own research into finding an Image Hosting Service that is most suitable for you and your needs.

URL Shortening Services/URLs:
Where possible, please post a direct link to the image using an ATTACH or IMG tag. JUB prefers that you upload small and medium sized images as attachments so that the content is on JUB's server and the image will remain visible even if the image is removed from the hosted service (e.g. Tumblr).

Image hosting sites often provide a direct link with both an IMG and URL tag. Where possible, use the IMG tag to avoid having JUB members being redirected to another site if they click on the image. The URL tag adds risk of introducing malware or viruses into members' computers.

Avoid using URL shortening services like ADFLY and BITLY (JUB blocks many URL shortening services). Where possible, post the actual image uring an IMG tag.

Videos

Videos, like images, are a nifty way to brighten up your post, and our forum software makes embedding of videos from other sites easier.

JustUsBoys encourages its users to share and discuss like-minded interests, but we also appreciate the creative works of those in our industry, and we will not be a party to infringing on their intellectual property rights. Only one single link is allowed per username per thread to downloadable video files. While freely available 'teaser' style clips and Rockettube/XTube type links are generally OK, lengthy video clips are not. If the video file is from a commercial production, then no other links can occur in the same thread from the same video production. Additionally, threads can not cross-link to other threads sharing videos from the same production.

Embedding a Video - All that you need to do is paste the link, and it will automagically become an embedded video.

Posting a link to a video - If you would rather post a link, you need to uncheck the "Automatically embed media" tickbox (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on), or "Automatically parse links in text" tickbox. This can't be done in 'Quick Reply' mode, you need to 'Go Advanced'.

We prefer that members use video hosting sites that are free and do not require a membership. Sites that offer "click through" payments may be removed at the moderator's discretion. Links to video hosting sites that have adware, popups or other malware may be removed at the moderator's discretion.

Censored Words

Many of you have noticed that certain sites in some posts appear as ********.com

These are sites that have either repeatedly spammed JUB, contain dubious content, are in direct competion with our associated companies or in some cases download viruses without your knowledge. As such they are classed as Prohibited Content.

If you find that a site you have tried to post becomes ********.com, do not worry, either re-edit your post to remove it or leave it as it is and report it so that we can delete it for you.

In addition, some words may also appear as ******.

Any subsequent posts trying to circumnavigate the censoring in order to reveal the site (or words) to others will be treated as posting Prohibited Content. Do not use url shortening services to bypass the ban. Attempts to bypass censoring will be dealt with using the warnings and infractions system.

This list is continuously updated, so you may also find that what was okay last week may have changed this week! Don't worry if this affects an old post you have made - no retrospective action will be taken!

Prohibited Content

Various representatives and lawyers of numerous actors, models and companies have contacted JUB and requested that images of themselves, their clients or companies are not posted on, or linked to, JustUsBoys.

Promotion of OnlyFans, JustForFans, etc sites:

JUB's Code of Conduct forbids use of the forum to promote commercial sites. Only JUB Friends who have marketing agreements with JUB are allowed to promote commercial sites.

If you create a JUB account solely to promote your "fans" site in the forums, you'll be banned and reported to anti-spam sites.
