Prescription Drug Advertisements

Have you not seen how much wildebeests charge!!???

Prima donnas, all of 'em!!

Why would a drug that requires a prescription need an advertisement in the first place?

Dog owners are caring people. They care for their dog, and care for their good health, with appropriate (and often, unnecessary) medication.

Pill popping is an addiction that craves its justification, by any means that satisfies its need to be understood, as a legitimate past time, akin to walking the dog.

Maybe they decided to put the dog in the commercial because that was one of the lab animals they tested it on, and they are showing it's still doing well?

Some advertisements go out for people with chronic shit that can't be cured, like Psoriasis, to let those of us know that there is a new option that one can try out there without having to go through the last resort methods.

Why would a drug that requires a prescription need an advertisement in the first place?

Advertising prescription drugs in Canada is illegal. We get enough of it through American programming.

It's because a lot of people who take meds are hopelessly single, but they still want to show that you'll have companionship if you take their drug...

The ones which annoy me most are the ones which don't even mention what the drug does. They simply say, "Ask your doctor about Such-And-Such."
