Prince Caspian, What'd you think.

$6.50 is the matinee/student price. It is $8 for a night showing.
I just went to see it tonight. It's just not worth $10.50 for me in my opinion. Long and boring. Action scence weren't that spectacular. I doze off couple time during the first hour.
I really like the first one though.

I just saw this. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. I liked the intrigue and the dialogue, I just thought some of the acting was forced. But this time around, I found the Pevensie kids' acting much better and less contrived. I guess my favorite part was the scene with the White Witch.

I also think they handled the situation where Peter and Susan can no longer return to Narnia pretty well. I kept wondering how they planned on doing that without making it really awful and a buzzkill.

I don't think my best friend liked it as much as I did, though. He felt the love between Susan and Caspian came out of nowhere.

Saw it again yesterday. (Took my mother, who needed a good escapist flick.) I noticed more of the faults this time around. Not huge ones, but there they were. My mother found parts of it tough to follow, having not read the books. It did seem longer this time around. And I noticed some really crappy acting by the kid extras during the London tube fight scene. :) Caught at least three of them looking bored and staring in the wrong direction.

>>>He felt the love between Susan and Caspian came out of nowhere.

Ditto. I blame Titanic. :)

Damn kids...always fucking up the movies.

Actually, this one girl, probably college age, was in the third row with her boyrfriend and was just way too into it. Everyone could hear her say "Ohhhhhh shit!" whenever something happened.

Oh, and for as long as Lucy is in the series, I'm going to count how many awkward "switchblade" flipping scenes she has.

I watched it, even though I expected to hate it like I did the first one. But I actually enjoyed it. For what it is, its not a bad movie.

And that Ben Barnes is sooo hot.

Assuming they stick by the books, she's got one more - in the next movie. She has a very minor role in the fifth, and a modest one in the last. :)

I swear, I'm wired wrong. I even had time to sit back and enjoy it during the second viewing, and that through literally NEVER crossed my mind. Wouldn't mind dragging some of the larger hairier things back to bed to see what they're like, though.

No no, you and me both.

In the book, it was a hag and a werewolf. It certainly seemed more like a harpy in the movie, but if it was a werewolf, he began (and died) in wolf form.
