Six NXT stars will be drafted to Raw and Smackdown tomorrow night during the live draft.

I kinda feel like for it being the first episode of Smackdown being Live permanently it wasn't good. I just didn't enjoy it that much and the draft how they set it up was so stupid with them coming out throughout the night choosing five superstars then leaving and coming back later. I'm also confused with how the titles will work now but hopefully all gets after the PPV. Also the NXT superstars that got drafted were great picks, although I would've liked to see Carmella and Alexa stay in NXT for a while more since the women's division in NXT has no one left besides Asuka and Bayley. But nonetheless they're a great fit for Smackdown. I'm also so exicted for Finn Balor and the American Alpha's.

I think it was time that Alexa and Carmella joined the maim roster tbh. With all these women gone, it gives them.a chance to push the other women we aren't seeing like Peyton Royce and they'll probably sign more talented women from the independent.

Tonight is officially the beginning of a "new era". Let's see how it turns out. I'm mostly looking forward to see how Finn Balor interacts with The Club tonight.

Every time ratings dip enough they announce a "new era," a rebirth so-to-speak. I'm sure very little will change.

Well at least they changed the logo and set and that looks better. The theme song also sounds less crappy than the last one.

Good first show. 4 strong long matches and the making of a superstar with Balor. Here is hoping that Rollins and Balor have more than 1 match at Summerslam. You know that is going to be a classic.

Smackdowm wasn't good tbh. It felt exactly the same and not one of the matches topped Raw. Also the set didn't look very different either.

What are the plans for the women's decision there? They basically just had them all come out and stand there after Becky beat Natalya match which was pretty good.and probably the match of the night for me.

^^ I'm not really into the women's wrestling at all, but didn't Stephanie say that she was going to give a push the women's division and start more women's story lines, etc. etc. etc.?

They did. The match between Sasha Banks and Charlotte on Raw was a really great match and one of the best of the night. Let's not forget the classic triple threat at Wrestlemania.

They're really pushing the women's division this time but the problem is that Smackdown only has like six women and no women's title. I can't see what they will do with them on that show.

Rumors are that Melina has been contacted by wwe for a return as part of their reaching out to veterans to join the brands.

If she does, she should go to Smackdowm to add some more women there and plz get some kind of women's title there too. I know that Shelton Benjamin is coming back to Smackdown and Jinder Mahal will be on Raw so it's good to see some of the veterans again.

Looks like they uploaded Nia Jax debut Raw match.

I hope they don't make a habit of her squashing jobbers though.

I could do without seeing or hearing Melina ever again, honestly.

Giving Smackdown its own women's title was what stuck us with that bullshit butterfly Divas belt in the first place... so I'm not wild about having a second women's title added in again. If anything, they should do what they did at the start of the original brand split and have the women's champion able to appear on both shows. It'd be to their benefit right now too considering they want people to watch Smackdown and Sasha is one of their biggest stars at the moment.

The first episodes of both RAW and Smackdown of the "new era" I really enjoyed. RAW was really good with making a new "main event" championship and I was so happy that Finn will be facing Rollins at Summerslam since we've never seen them face each other before and both men are really amazing wrestlers. It'll kind of be like the first ever NXT champion vs Longest ever NXT champion for this new championship which is pretty cool. Sasha Banks winning the title RAW was really good and how she paid a little tribute to Eddie Guerrero was amazing as well. It was amazing to see her win and live her dream of being a champion, the pop she got when she won the title was amazing and the match itself was match of the night. I also like how RAW is set up with the new set and theme song and how the ring ropes are red. My only negative about RAW is Nia Jax, I was expecting to see her debut be bigger and actually have a match against someone who is on the roster instead of a local competitor, but I think she'll probably destroy all these local competitors each week in squash matches until she gets a title match against Sasha and Sasha will beat her like Bayley beat Nia and then she'll stop having squash matches until WWE doesn't know how to use her anymore.

And for Smackdown I liked it as well all the matches were good and the six pack challenge was good to see as well as it was something we haven't seen on RAW and Smackdown. Making Dolph the no. 1 contender was really unexpected to see and I'm so happy for as Dolph and Dean always have good matches.

I'd really like to see Melina comeback to WWE. Jinder Mahal coming back is confusing as WWE never really utilized him the first time he was there. The return of Shelton Benjamin is gonna be exciting as he is a phenomenal performer and he's really good in the ring.

I just hope WWE can keep presenting us with good matches and shows each week.

I don't really get why they thought about bringing Jinder Mahal back either. It's not like he was ever really big in wwe to begin with.

He never really did much.

Just in case anyone cares the wwe network has added all the raws and smackdowns from 2006.

I'd be very happy to see Melina back, put her on Smackdown and along with Natalya they will be able to teach Carmella and Bliss a lot.

Damn... they're bringing the "Cruiser Weight Division to RAW?" The roster is going to be massive. I wonder how they intend to fit everyone in...

Raw opened pretty well last night. The boss and Charlotte always great as usual.
