Project Runway Season 14

For me the three designers were - when Tim visited Kelly I was sure she would win but the three items on the runway were bland. Ashley's looked like shit - Candace looked good runway but who wears those things - and I loved the quick dress and the big bow dress of Edmunds. That's all.
 
Looking at those four now...

Edmond was all over the place and the three looks he sent is not cohesive; it felt like they're the three separate looks.

What Kelly sent down in the runway was pretty boring and all three of her looks looked too junior for my own taste... I know she'll do better though.

I actually liked Candice's looks but I'm getting tired of her using black over and over again along with a corset... She's like an one-trick pony.. And I can see where the judges are getting at when they told her to take a step back, do some editing, and to not go overboard on designs.

Ashley... Well... I liked her dark purple, lacey dress but the zipper on back are horrendous and the model was even showing bras from the behind too. I know Ashley claim to design clothes for plus-size women... So why is she doing a horrendous job at it? The crop top and a skirt she sent down on another model are so horrendous and I'd get rid of it right away.

Looking at those pictures of four collections... Ashley and Edmond are easily the contender for fourth and third place because some of them are still horrible and all over the place.

Candice and Kelly actually did MUCH better in their collection and either one will get the crown.

Edmund: Black and white make a cohesive collection??? Is that why he made a Victorian mourning dress, a mod bow dress and a contemporary dress? Pretty naïve thinking, as well as the "rufflepalooza" concept.

Kelly: I think her entire collection looks cheap and bland. I'm getting a Gretchen flash back.

Ashley: Mexico City in the 1950s? It's more like Hoochie Easter with bras, back rolls and panties. What woman would want her large thighs visible through lace with her panties showing? Really? Cover it up!

Candice: Yah, she did visit the Met's "China through the Looking Glass" exhibit, but didn't quite understand that Chinoiserie walks a fine line. Looks like too much is never enough in her collection.

And they stayed in a Best Western in LA and the Paper Factory Hotel in QUEENS when they got back to New York?! Heidi, please!
 
Tim Gunn used his save on Edmond what a surprise!

Edmond: very surprised at his conservative looks. Where is the sexy? He needs to sex it up if he wants to win!

Kelly: I am rooting for her! She disappointed me and all the judges as well! Her 3 designs all looked the same and they looked like she bought them off the rack. Nothing original or special for a runway show. She won the last 3 challenges in the competition let us see her creativity and she needs to ramp it up!

Ashley: Mexico City in the 1950's? You have to be kidding me! They all look like mother of the bride, matronly looks. Nothing young and youthful! Also ill fitting can not happen if you are doing a Runway Show at NY Fashion Week! She needs to pull it together!

Candice: Black leather and red leather AGAIN! What a one trick pony! All 3 designs looked very costumey!

I hope the designers can pull it together in 48 hours and create a great Runway Show at NY Fashion Week!

This Thursday is the Finale! Let's go Kelly!
 
What a disappointment from all 4 designers at NY Fashion Week!
Edmond: His collection I thought was very sexy. I liked his the most and thought he should have WON!
Candice: Asian Infused I did not get that vibe at all! She showed the same boring and tired leather looks that she has shown all season long.
Kelly: Studio 54 with modern look. I was totally disappointed with Kelly's designs! She had $9,000 and that is what she came up with.
Ashley: Mexico City in the 1950's. I did not like her collection at all! I thought it looked very matronly.

When Ashley was announced as the winner I thought WTF! When she said she was going to do a collection for Plus Size women Heidi was onboard with the idea. I think that is the only reason she Won Season 14!
What a disappointing season! Well, there is always next season. LOL
Next Thursday is the reunion followed by the Season Premiere of Project Runway Junior.
 
It should have gone to Kelly or Edmund. It went to Ashley because it has become a big thing to do plus size clothing, although if I were a plus size woman I think I would look elsewhere for my plus size clothes. I didn't think there was a single piece that was flattering on the women.

As far as Candace goes, she could do the next 50 Shades movie with her leather collection.
 
I think Kelly should've gotten the win.

I don't think Edmond should win because I felt I've seen more from him throughout challenges rather than his collection and I don't really feel his collection was cohesive.

I saw Candice's collection from the pictures and thought it looked amazing but after seeing them on TV... I can see lot of minor flaws in those and wasn't surprised she got fourth.

Ashley's collection... Well... I didn't like half of what she made and I liked half of what she made.
 
I think so too.

Kelly was my favorite all throughout this season.

Can't wait for the reunion special next week... and Project Runway Junior.

I just hope Kelly Osbourne will not drop too many F Bombs.
 
I liked Kelly's collection the most, although I wasn't overly impressed with any of the final collections. Flip a coin as to who should have been the winner though...plus size collection had the edge, I guess, because it's out of the norm.

Kelly's designs are probably the most salable, and I really liked the pattern mixing of metal/wood. Not a lot of innovation though, and the tightness of the stretch pants was kind of cheap looking.

Ashley's one look where all the flowers were glued onto the both the sheer cape and satin skirt was just crazy and ugly. I disliked most of the colors and lacy fabrics too. Really dislike visible granny panties most of all.

Candace should have stuck with her original styling/accessories...hoop skirt and whatever that wood shoulder thing was (ditch the hat though.) I doubt she'd have won, but she'd have at least lost going full out on her aesthetic, rather than caving to the judges criticism to conform by toning it down...down to the point of ho hum we've seen it all before...

Edmund...I was just disappointed overall. Seen it. I'll miss his cute face and smooth voice...
 
I was so glad to see on the Project Runway Season 14 Reunion Special that Kelly was awarded $25,000 from Mary Kay Cosmetics for winning the most challenges this season. She definitely deserves it.
 
Yes, I LOVED it!!!!

I'm curious which design has Kelly Osbourne emotional in that "This Season On Project Runway Junior" trailer.

Peytie, already is a fave along with Jaxson and Bridget and Matt.
 
I like all the kids so far. I like Jaxson, Maya, Bridget and Samantha the most so far.
 
Another AWESOME episode!!!!

I would have given it to Peytie but that's just me.

Can't wait for next week!!
