project runway - season 5

i finally saw this weeks challenge! i have to agree with everyone in that this was the most interesting challenge to date! although i preferred koto's dress i was glad to see leanne win because both were pretty good. keith is cute and all (but please, please, please! lose the rat tail.) but his work was really slipping.
 
Not at all sad to see Keith go. He was one-note with an unfortunate attitude to boot.

I was really afraid for Stella, though. I thought the criticism that she received was unwarranted, and she definitely didn't deserve to be in the bottom two. Her look was sleek and neat-looking.

Also? Blayne needs to be sent home. Like five episodes ago.

Nah, i used to think he was annoying as hell, but he for sure grew on me. I think he's funny as hell to watch, even though a lot of his designs are pretty tacky.

Oh, and I agree that Korto should have won that challenge, even though it looked like a scarecrow when she had it on the mannequin.

That's the thing: The competition isn't based on personality, it's based on talent. And he has none. His clothes are ugly. The producers are only keeping him around because they want us to buy into the idea that he's the second coming of Christian Siriano, which he most definitely isn't. It's become so annoying to watch him desperately foist his hammy little catchphrases on an obviously-pained Tim Gunn.

I can't wait until he gets sent home.
 
I think it's time for both Blayne and Stella to go.. Their designs haven't been great challenge after challenge..
 
i'm really glad they cut Keith. all of his dresses looked the same and the last one wasn't made well at all. i was worried that they would keep him for the sake of dramatic effect.

i think Stella is the next to go. it seems like she wants to go home. when they were supposed to find parts and she was like "i'm not moving" and then on the runway when she was talking about her outfit she seemed completely uninterested.

i still think Korto is going to win... i also feel like she's been getting the shaft at the runway just because they expect her to make good outfits. she should have won the last 2 contests, i think.
 
Can't belive I'm the first to comment on last night's episode. Has everyone lost interest?

I didn't think any of the outfits were anything spectacular. Joe's outfit was the worst, but I really like him and am glad he got to stay. It's the first time he's ever been in the bottom 3.

It's good to know that Stella is gone. Judging from Tim Gunn's blog, it sounds like he was glad to see her go, too.
 
I was sad to see Stella go. Her outfit certainly wasn't the best, but it was nowhere near as heinous as Joe's, IMO.

And why are they so hellbent on keeping Blayne around? Everything that he turns out is pure trash, yet they refuse to even place him in the bottom three. He's the most talentless hack that the show has ever seen and his continued presence is making the competition unenjoyable for me.
 
I'm convinced they are keeping Blayne for entertainment purposes. I liked LeAnne's outfit but again I think Korto's outfit should have won. You could tell she was pissed that she didn't win and even LeAnne was a bit suprised that she won again.

I really find myself not agreeing with the judge's decisions that much this year.

Korto should just take solace that she's in the fact she's clearly the best and will win this whole thing.

And I agree about Blayne unfortunately he's more grating than entertaining so even keeping him around for that is useless. Jerrel comes off as quirky amusing. Blayne just comes off annoying and fake with his forced catch phrases.
 
It almost seems to me that they are keeping around the so-called "entertaining" people for some reason. Almost every episode I have completely disagreed with who went home. Eliminating Stella was for once this season a step in the right direction. I've pretty much lost interest because this season is pretty bad, but when I was told that Stella and Joe were in the bottom two, I did want to see that. Stella going home was pretty much a guarantee, but seeing Joe taken down a few pegs was really nice to watch (and he deserved it.) Tim sure didn't seem sad to see Stella go. Maybe if they eliminate Blayne (enough with the damn catchrases!), Joe, or Suede (if he refers to himself in 3rd person one more time...) I might be able to watch, but I don't see myself actively seeking to watch at this point. This season just can't compare to previous seasons.
 
Anyone else think that Kenley is out of her mind??
 
I think Kenley should have gone in place of Terri, but Blayne is finally out of the competition so I can't complain. :)
 
God....some of these designers are slow. Don't they know what Avant-Garde is?

Was happy to see my bf Wesley come back for a show.
 
Kenley is fucking nuts. I wish she left.

I really think they should've kept Kelli around instead of dragging Blayne all this way when everyone knew from episode one he wasn't going to win or ever really produce anything good I feel the same way about Suede and felt the same way about Stella. It bugs me they're keeping "characters" around despite them not producing decent work.

Terri shouldn't have gone because she does have a good track record.

Glad to see Jerell win something but I was really upset that we didn't really get to see the judges deliberate over teh good designs or at least hear the vote count.
 
I think Suede should have gone instead of Terri....Terri's was ugly...but it was better then Suede's pajamas that he made. And Kenley is ridiculous! She's so diluted! Like I think maybe crazier then Suede, Blayne and Stella combined.

The final three in my eyes were the three that "didn't win" but weren't the worst (Joe, Leeanne, Korto)....I have no clue how Jarell won this competition...I thought Joe was def going to win.
