project runway - season 5

OMG in that link provided by Guilty Pleasures, you see Christian Soriano's collection during Fashion Week. Heidi wore one of his dresses at the Emmy Award! Though I think she could have picked one of the ruffled dresses instead of the striped one.
 
Daniel is soooo sexy! :) I was sad when he got kicked off :( even though he had shitty designs. I saw the Fashion Week Collections and my favorite is Leanne. Even though she was never my favorite during the show. My favorite this season has been Korto. I love her collection but i think Leannes is the best and i'm positive she's the winner.


P.S. has anyone else read about the Jennifer Lopez finale drama?!
 
I think Leanne will win.

In tonight's preview for next week, you see Heidi saying you're out to someone and she looks to her left. And if the designers are standing in the same spots next week, it's going to be Jerrell#-o

I noticed that to.....and if i'm not mistaken even in the preview Jerrell was standing to the far left. I really hope it's Kenley.....I really like Jerrell and would like to see him go to Bryant Park.

I definitely think Korto or LeAnne will win. I am amazed how Kenley has been such a bitch the past few weeks and then all of the sudden tried to apologize to the judges because she knew her attitude had caught up with her. Michael summed it up great when he said "What if a buyer says something negative about a sleep, is she going to bring out a knife on him or her?"
 
This episode was too emotional. I didn't like the petty models and the little highschool antics they were going through; I have more respect for Kenley because at least she is honest and says shit to your face rather than being bitchy behind people's back; like everybody else.

I say Jerell is out next week; his collection at fashion week seemed weak compared to the others; still say Leanne to win.

Jennifer Lopez didn't need to be there, I am glad they picked replaced her with "you know who". The little romance between Daniel and Wesley is down right adorable.
 
i loved leann's dress from this past episode - and she even picked a color that's completely hot this season: purple/lavender

with some minor edits (like removing that blue shit from the back), hers could've easily beat out jerrell's

i actually didn't like jerrell's at all - and of the three, leanne definitely should've won.

although - nice to see jerrell with his shirt off, a la wesley nault, ironing. god there was some hot boycandy this season.

interested to see who will get cut next. how can you tell jerrell is standing to the left of heidi? i couldn't tell from the way they edited the preview.
 
I didn't think Jerrell's was all that hot either. The dress was too low the model's boobs were practically going to spring out at any second. It was unfinished and didn't have the fit.

Leanne's was much better, why she tacked on that blue in the back is beyond me.

But yeah Jerrell's collection for fashion week, at least from the preview, looked tacky as hell.

Jerrell really dropped the bomb. It sucks that Kenley now has a chance to win, but Jerrell realy deserved to go this week.
 
Leanne has this shit in the bag....her collection is the best of the three, with Korto in second and Kenley in third
 
Jerrell won last week he shoulod have been guaranteed a spot in fashion week. Project Runway sucked so hard this year. It is off my Tivo now and I couldn't give a shit who wins.

I'm ecstatic that Kenley made it to the final three. For as hard as the editors try to make it appear otherwise, the fact is that (A) Korto is an unfeeling bitch, (B) Leanne is a snobby bitch, and (C) Jerell is a straight-up bitch.

I'm also happy that we gained some insight into her private life in tonight's episode. I'm certain that her grandmother's passing affected her behavior for the duration of the competition. She obviously had a tremendous influence on Kenley's sense of style, so to have her tastes criticized on a daily basis struck a particularly sensitive nerve, I'm sure.

You could see that she was making a concerted effort to come off better when the four reunited after two months. She offered Jerell, Korto, and Leanne a sincere apology for some of her less-than-charming moments (even though, in my opinion, they didn't deserve it), and she even went so far as to pour their drinks for the group toast.

Like I said, I'm glad that she's there. She's the only one of the final three with a truly definitive style. Korto does... what? Vaguely African clothing? Leanne utilizes peculiar and unflattering geometric shapes? Kenley's found her voice in modernizing classic looks of the 1940s and -50s. Something far more marketable than what the other two contestants have to offer.

I, for one, am rooting for a Kenley win.
 
It seems that kenley's designs always allude to previously designed garments by fashion houses. The wedding dress she did basically cements this notion as it was just 2 mcqueen dresses morphed into one.
 
I really liked Leanne's stuff so far. I'm rooting for her.

I found Kenley annoying since the very first episode, but I have to say, she kinda redeemed herself this episode.

An all-female top 3 is pretty cool.
 
I'm pretty sure it was this dress from McQueen's Fall 2008 collection that they accused Kenley of pretty much copying, feathers and all.

NOOOOOO!!!! I think that Jerrell should have def. made it to the final 3. Will have to go online to see his final collection.

Was it weird that when Tim went to visit Kenley, he only stayed for the advice. No going to meet family and friends, no going to talk...he did with the other three.

Also, is Project Runway going to Lifetime or not? I thought I read something a while back saying that it wasn't happening anymore.
 
Apparently right now it is NOT going to be on Lifetime...but it's also not going to be on Bravo....The Weinstein brothers are appealing the courts decision though....the new season is already filming though
 
Jerrell's dress was awful. Even after Tim suggested he fix it, he didn't take Tim's advice, so now he's gone.

It's down to the 3 ladies.

As much I can't stand Kenley. As hard as her life's been, as she claims, it's no excuse for being nasty and arrogant to everyone. She talks down to everyone. I think her designs will make her the winner of this year's project Runway.

I hope this show comes back next year. Whether it'll be on Bravo or Lifetime. And I hope they pick better contestants than this years.
 
Jerrell's designs always ran a fine line between genius and costume. Sadly, he gave in to his worst inclinations with last night's designs.

I have to say this is only the second time Kenley gave it her all, (I can't stand her.) but the judges were right about her 2 dresses.

I purposely avoided the publicity about fashion week at Bryant Park, so I'd be surprised by the last episode.

I'm torn between Korto and Leanne for the win, but I've been leaning more and more toward Leanne these last few weeks.

If Kenley does have the best designs, it'll be a bitter pill to swallow, but you can't undervalue someone's talent just because you dislike them.
