project runway - season 5

I thought the whole wedding dress idea was awesome! It's very Elie Saab.

Oddly, I didn't feel bad that Jerrel lost because I saw his collection and it was T-A-C-K-Y. Omg what was he thinking?
 
wow...i've read all the pages in this thread, and have seen most of the episodes...
I have to say this year the show has sunk even more into TV ratings than talent(which isn't so surprising)...
Kenley must be fucking one of those 2 fat ,gross pig Weinstein bros (or tag teaming both)....because she can generate press, but she is a terrible, narrow designer............her wedding dress was stolen (not inspired) and her bridesmaids was totally McCalls.....a shell top with a poof skirt,(gee) and she is unprofessional and childish....
sad to see Jerell go...he has fantastic talent ,and has show this all season....the producers probally didn't want another fluttery queen to win (although we should probally see Michael kors and Tim sashay thru cocktails at home).....Christian is bad enough.....

I like one note LeAnne, but have adored Korto from the 1st.....she is a gifted pro (do you know how hard it is to use prints as boldly and as well as she does?)...............they'll probally give the crown to that plagiaristic, pseudo Bettie Page, Kenley....so goes the ways of TV

Last year I attended Fashion Week, so I was in no doubt Christian had won.

I had other plans this year, so i prefer to see the collection on Bravo rather than the internet.
 
I inadvertently heard that someone I liked didn't do all that well. (I'm not saying who.)

We'll see tomorrow night.
 
I want Kenley to win.

She's a bitch, but she's got the most balls and the most talent.

Leanne's 'waves' concept is whack and Korto's ehtnic influence just isn't floating my boat.
 
Seriously what kind of balls does she have? She stole a McQueen dress, does 40s inspired floral dresses, and when she doesn't do that, she just plain sucks.
 
I'm so glad Leanne won.

All three collections were top-notch.

I was surprised how much I liked Kenley's designs, but she deserved to come in third.

If Korto had just edited her designs more, I think she would have won. I think that's what Tim was continually trying to tell her.
 
Loved that Leanne won! I had it called since maybe the 2nd or third episode! I really loved her collection....as did I love Korto's......I just did not enjoy Kenley's....I feel like there was no flow...no connection(besides the painting...but that wasn't enough for me)

Sad that there isn't gonna be a reunion show though=(
 
I know, I wanted to see a reunion show too. OMG Kenley would've been shredded to pieces.

I'm really tired of all the other Bravo tie-ins.

The behind the scenes clips from Project Runway had to be shown during the interior design show? WTF I had to watch that crap to see the antics going on at Project Runway?
 
not even behind the scenes clips would get me to watch Top Design...it's sooooo freakin' boring!
 
Well, what a complete cop-out that was. Funny how they simply LOVED the versatility and refined simplicity of Leanne's designs, yet they refused to give Daniel Vosovic the win in season two. Whatever. It was painfully obvious that Bravo was trying to drive the show into the ground before it changed hands, anyway, so why would they actually reward the most deserving person?

Worst season ever. And congratulations are in order for Chloe Dao; she's no longer the most forgettable winner in Project Runway history.

Overall, a lackluster season, but the final 3 was exciting. I really wonder how well this show will do on Lifetime...

Oh, anybody notice Dani and Bianca from ANTM? I saw Naima at the model audition (thank god she wasn't chosen). Also, Shannon from Make Me a Supermodel tried out. And I think that scary Amanda chick from a few seasons ago walked fro Korto.

I did notice Bianca. She was in Chris's last year.


I don't know anything about fashion. I just watch the show for it's reality showness but from my fashion blind perspective I really think Korto should've won. She was consistently in the top three and her collection seemed much more varied and interesting to me than LeAnnes. I mean I don't care because LeAnne was actually my favorite this season so I dont' care that much but still...
