It would be interesting to learn more about the break-up. I guess I can understand why someone would not be in favor of gay marriage, but I will never understand why it is up to the public to decide, nor why anyone would donate large sums to prevent it.
 
This is the problem with extreme moral conservatism; if one is going to promote such a position, particularly if one is pre-judging others on the basis of it, one must be whiter than white; one must be a saint amongst men. If one does not, one topples from one's pedestal so dramatically one burns up before hitting the ground below.

The fact that so many who publically proclaim such positions so often end up BEHAVING in a far more immoral manner than those whose morality is somewhat more lax and protean just further illustrates the illegitimacy of such a position.

There are some reports that he's lost upwards of 5 million dollars from a plethora of conventions, shows and reservations from his hotel chain.

He tried a half-assed reprisal of offering free stays or credits on conventions but was met with a "we'll end the boycott on you when you're bankrupt and living in the street" response.

This just shows how completely without morals those.. people.. are.
 
Whenever the right makes a fuss about the right of gays to marry,how the sanctity of marriage is so important society would fall apart if it were extended to same sex couples...we should point to this case as a powerful antidote to that hypocrisy.
 
I don't see what the irony is. Opposing same sex marriage and getting a divorce are two completely unrelated things. I rather doubt that those linking opposition to same sex marriage and divorce have even an inkling of what irony is.

For those that keep trying to bring the Bible into this argument maybe you should read the Bible as there is no prohibition on divorce. Adultery is prohibited but divorce is not.

And I would like to know how one "pre-judges" anyone. The act of pre-judging would be everything that happens before one judges another's actions. The misuse of English on here is appalling.
 
It would be even better if she left Dougie b/c she caught him getting fucked by another man.
