Pubic Hair - length

A guy I was with said that before next time I should trim my pubes a bit. I'm sure my patch is not outrageous but I'll respect what he's got to say.

Anyway, it got me thinking what a normal range of bush length is. Both measurement from skin out to edge of bush, and the measurement of length of the hair held out straight.

Any thoughts on typical measurements?

i don't think there is a "typical" measurement .. it's all about what you like or not. many do not like the "clean shaven" look as it is too boyish (or just looking ridiculous if you are otherwise hairy and have a "bald" patch), many do trim so that it's not that bushy, others like the bushy look and then there are people who "style" themselves down there

I'd be pissed of if some guy made comments about the length of my pubes or about any other aspect of my appearance. Unless he was super hot and then I would just ignore it.

Whatever you decide, they'll grow back just the same, so go ahead and experiment.

Well the dude has "controling" issues..If you're going to take his advice I suggest you call him up and ask him how much you should shave. He might not want you to shave too much but just enough for his liking..
