Pungent Crotch Issue

If the smell is coming from the crease between the thighs and crotch you may have jock itch.

The best deodorant to avoid smelling is the crystal make of salt. For pits, feet and even the crotch. Bacteria grows in dark, damp places and that's what smells. Perspiration itself has no odor.

If it's fungus, I've heard anti-dandruff shampoo can help, also OTC anti-fungal creams. You can have fungus without the itch.

I'd recommend using hibiclens. It'll kill the bacteria thus controlling odour. It's a persistent anti-microbial even if you get all sweaty (for a period of time.) I never have the need to use it every day, so I'd recommend using it once ever three days and see how things go from there.

Seriously???

Then why do people smell differently???

Just curious...

:):):)

I'm learning something new EVERY day!!! ..|

Depends on what you eat. Changing your diet will help diminish the odor. Ever smell someone who eats a lot of garlic? Try eating less, and I mean much less processed foods.

I follow a gluten-free and clean(non-processed food) diet and I really have no bad body odor at all. I workout and sweat a lot but I also use corn starch powder with zinc-oxide in my groin and alternate it with an anti-fungal powder every few days. I also use mild shower soap called Cetaphil and once a week use an anti-fungal soap to prevent jock itch.

Keeping your groin and arm pit hair tirmmed will also help diminish odor.

Wash and soap properly every moning then use antiseptic talcum powder sprinkled on liberally. This keeps the area dry and reduces fungal growth.

If that does not help, go see a doctor and get an anti fungal cortiziod cream which will sort it in about 2 days flat.

I remember seeing Dr. Oz talking about bad smelling feet and he had an interesting solution. Apparently, it is a good idea to soak your feet in very strong tea. Like several tea bags added to a basin of water. Apparently the tannic acid in the tea helps to dry out the sweat glands or something like that.

It sounds like something that could work on your private area, and if it doesn't, no harm done... Brew some tea and sit in it!!!!!!!!

take 2 showers a day and a bath every other day

I like how we're all on board with the fungal colonization without even hearing back from him...

Since eliminating saturated fats and (most) processed food from my diet, my body odor has gone down in a variety of ways. I'm also a big (but not religious) garlic & onion eater, so I'm not sure that's a factor. Of course, I have heard that it can have and adverse affect the flavor of your spunk. Citrus, pineapple, celery, and rose or mint teas, I've heard, can have a pleasant affect on the flavor.

Tangent: Did you guys ever hear about the dead in the Vietnam War? Evidently, the corpses of the Vietcong didn't smell and were comparatively indiscreet while shrinking down in the stifling jungle, whereas the bodies of our boys were a little more... well, frankly, ripe. The stark disparity was ultimately deduced to be caused by the differences in diet: many living foods and fibers and very little in the way of meats and fats on the part of the Vietcong; and basically the inverse for our guys. Go team! ..|

I have no issue with body odor, unless I don't shower or reapply deodorant, or am physically exertive for more than a day. Or I can stink "down there" if I fuck or jerk off and don't shower or wash afterward. Then of course there's the mud butt... but now we're just complicating things. \:/

To curtail odor, I shower twice a day (even use an unscented deodorant) and watch my diet (saturated fats and refined carbohydrates). As a reward, I usually come home from work with that fantastic man smell--you know, right when you start to smell like something, but well before you sour?--and tend to err on the leaner side. Anyway, I'd try upping the showering frequency, though, admittedly, I do dry out some, especially in the winter. My face, hands (already wash too frequently), and sometimes my back get dry. I just use the cheapest face moisturizer I can find (Garnier Fructis's grape seed extract something or another) and Jergen's Naturals body lotion for the rest, before I go to work and before I go to bed. 'S effective enough.

From time to time, I hear something "blah blah blah genetics." Of course, I always just respond in my head: Lazy fuck. ;) Though in all fairness, I haven't stood in everyone's shoes.

So, in a nut shell, I'm of very little help. :D
