Uhm.. The powers of the X-Men weren't part of the story? Please go watch the movies again. Besides, I highly doubt Push is better than the X-Men movies.

Maybe enjoyable.. but idk. I heard the ending was of uber suckage.

I really liked the movie as well..the ending was definitely not what I was expecting, and there were a few loose ends in the plot, but it was very different than what I would come to expect from this type of movie :)

no you need to see it to understand what i'm saying with the XMen vs Push concept. It just seemed the powers were integrated into the story instead of going along with it, i can't describe it. I think it's because the powers in Push have a purpose.

The ending....No, the person you talked must of like cliched endings.
X2 and X3 use the concept of these mutant's powers with it's plot. So... the powers do have purpose...

And it wasn't just one person. A lot of people hated the ending. They said it ended too abruptly.

Well in X-Men 1 Rogue's powers were needed for Magneto to power his machine to turn world leaders into mutants

In X2, Stryker needed Professor X to target other mutants with Cerebro

The scientists in X3 needed Leech to develop the cure for mutation

Among other powers the characters possessed that forwarded the plot, but anywho the X-Men films definitely used powers as main plot points for the story

Push was entertaining, but I was left with a few questions (like how does the Shadow guy's power work? I thought he could make others invisible - but he can only block the powers of Watchers and Sniffers) I think it would've been better if it allowed for invisibility or was a part of a Shifter's powers or something. It just seems kind of random that it was the only power dependent on another power. The rest seem useful on their own.

And what happened to Ming-Na's character?(the female Sniffer) - they just dropped her character and never explained what her note said.

I guess we're supposed to buy that Carver (Hounsou) had over 20 Watchers tracking history - but not one Wiper (memory erasers) working for him, to take care of the girl? And the ending was rather abrupt.

But anyway it was watchable. If you're used to X-Men or Heroes its def. nothing new.

I wanna see this. It sure didn't get a lot of publicity though. I didn't see Chris doing any talk shows to promote this.

I just saw it. There is no surprise ending or even really a wrap up. Is this a series? I liked it but it really was missing A LOT of explanation. That quick explanation during the beginning credits just didn't do it for me. And the end was blah. The best part of it was the city. I loved seeing the culture.

So basically the people who said the ending was crap.. were right? lol

It was missing that big pow, you know? Those who saw it how did Chris Evan's finally get all that power that he never had? I won't give anything away anything but there were a lot of holes in it. It was still a nice little movie. It wasn't the Spirit or anything that shitty.

There wwas no depth at all to the show or the characters. This show should probably be at least two movies. There was no explanation as to how the powers work or into the characters themselves.

As for the ending, it had potential to be awesome, but it fell short.

I thought the cinematography was awesome though. Very well filmed and great use of sound and music.

My 2 cents.

As far as the storyline goes, everyone has been pretty on point.

However, I think Push depicts psychic powers like telekinesis better than attempts by other movies, much better.

Especially during the part where Chris was getting tossed up down, left and right, getting thrown into walls, ceilings, the ground, again and again with no end in sight. That's how you use telekinesis. Other movies make telekinesis look pathetic and weak. In push, they were innovative with the powers. They went outside the box and really focused on making the powers as "cool" as possible.

I enjoyed it.

MANY people liked Iron Man....i thought movie was whack and overhyped.

I hated Iron Man. Overrated garbage with an incredibly cliched ending.

Thats funny because I still haven't seen Iron Man. Mostly because of the "OMFG its the best superhero movie ever"/ Downey JR. drool fest that I've continually heard about since it had been released. The promos and over-hypedness alone has made it non-rental worthy for me.

I never understood the love for that movie. My friends wanted to see it over and over and over again.. I was like, I'm not spending one more effin penny on that piece of trash! It's ridiculously bad.

But whatever.. That's my opinion. If I'm remembering correctly, it came out when Sex and the City did.. And my friends had a bitch fit when I watched that instead of Iron Man.. again.

It also probably doesnt help Iron Man's case that Tony Stark is a massive tool who everyone hates.

Yay for the reign of Norman Osbourne.

I really want to see this movie.
When ever I think of clairvoyant young girls, Dakota Fanning is always the first name that springs to mind.

Please don't see the Dark Knight. It's the most overhyped, overrated movie in the history of film.

I actually liked Dark Knight. But I will agree that it was overrated. But most of that is because of the fact that Ledger died. So everyone made a big deal about the film. I still thought it was a really good movie, though. I mean, for a super hero film... Or more importantly, a Batman film... you gotta admit it was well done.
