Ok so this show hasn't premiered yet...but I just downloaded the Pilot episode cause I couldn't wait. Well it is a GREAT show! I loved Bryan Fuller's last series "Wonderfalls" which was canceled after like a half a season on Fox a couple years ago but the DVD's are out and they are great so you should get them..haha. But Pushing Daisies is sweet, funny and just a good watch! I can't wait for it to air. Anyone else seen the pilot yet or is excited for this show?! Cause it's good...but I don't know how long it will last...cause usually shows like this can't find an audience and we all know that networks don't give shows chances to find audiences. So yeah check it out=)

but I just downloaded the Pilot episode

illegally...for shame [-X

It is getting so much critical praise. I was able to see the pilot at a press luanch a couple months back. I thought it was just ok. I didn't hook me the way the Damages pilot did.

The show did satisfy some of my senses given its vibrant fresh look and, distinctive and daring dialogue. I really liked the conversations the characters had with each other. There is not one moment wasted in this pilot, yet it still didnt grab me hook, line an sinker. I'll give it a second go next week, though i doubt it will find an audience.

but you gotta take into consideration that Damages and Pushing Daisies are two very different shows.

I also think that it won't find an audience like I said in my first post...but hopefully it will at least make it the season....though that's really doubtful...sadly.

and yes Illegally haha....but I will still support the show....I just couldn't wait..lol

LOL Digby should be in the guiness book because he is 22 years old and the average life of a dog is 12.5 years.

I really enjoyed tonight's premiere. At first, I wasn't sure whether I wanted to tune in to it or not, but I must say, I'm glad that I did.

I thought tonight's series premier of “Pushing Daisies” on ABC was a hit! :=D:

At first I sat there and tried to sum it up... like I would if I'd dreamed it all, and it's like "Whoa! What the hell did I eat last night that made me dream *that*!" But I liked it... I really did!

The storyline is humorous and witty (come on, Ned's pie/bakery outlet is call "The Pie Hole"!), the sets and characters are whimsical, and I found it to be very entertaining. I'm so sick of reality shows I could hurl, so "Pushing Daisies" was a nice break from it all. Add to that the fact that Ned, played by Lee Pace is one hot man! (IMHO) I can't wait 'til next week!

really if you liked this show PLEASE go and rent or buy the DVD set of the series "Wonderfalls"....same creator/writer as this show and Lee Pace was also in that series...it was only on for like half a season on FOX and then got canceled but the DVD is the complete series so it has the un-aired episodes as well....it was a great show! And I really hope that "Pushing Dasies" can last longer than that did!

Excellent show. Definitely worth the hype.

meh

It was OK.

Props for having the guts to run over a golden retriever in the opening sequence, but it quickly dissolved into the usual 'regular TV' pablum...

here is the unaired pilot of "Wonderfalls" i'ma keep harping on this until someone acknowledges me...haha

it was good. and lee pace is very hot to me. i saw him on the view today. he was kind of awkward with the ladies and he's one of those people that is so serious about their acting that they come off weird. also he played a tranny in a movie that he got acclaim for. if the show becomes a hit everyone is gonna say he's gay

I loved the pilot of this show alot, but sadly I can see this getting canned real quick for the main fact that its too "smart"

In fact I will go so far as to say that this will get cut mid season yet Cavemen will run for 6 or 7 seasons

Off to a great start.
Just read this:

Daises bloomed during last night’s premiere, pulling in a hefty 12.83 million viewers.

It’s the third strongest premiere of any show this season behind Bionic Woman and Private Practice. According to TV Guide, Deal or No Deal placed second (with 11 mil), followed by Kid Nation (7.5 mil, down another 110 thou) and Fox’s sitcombo of Back to You (6.58 mil, down a mil) and ‘Til Death (holding steady with 6.22 mil). Top Model (4.52 mil) dropped another 330K.

I caught the pilot. I loved it. Lee Pace was so cute, I wanted to hug him. I liked him in Wonderfalls, but I never realized how attractive he was until now.

BINGO! That's where I remember him (Lee Pace) from! "Soldier's Girl" was on HBO/C-Max/Starz (whatever) a couple of years ago, and he played the tranny girlfriend of a guy in the army. I didn't really recognize his face, but his voice was so familiar that it haunted me throughout the show... Gay or not, the man is freakin' HOT and is a brilliant actor! (IMHO) :=D:

Does anyone remember the movie Big Fish? This show has that exact same feel to it - me likey a lot and right up there with Reaper and Dirty Sexy Money as my 3 new favs.

I can summarize Pushing Daisies in five words, " A-gay-man's-wet-dream"! I missed the last two episodes, but I finally caught up and saw them on the ABC website. I am crossing my fingers it doesn't get canceled. I love the show. Did anyone see Kristin sing "Hopelessly Devoted to you" I love her she is so cute, and her voice is amazing. So any of you out there been watching it religiously?
