for a year now my ears have been really fucking itchy. really itchy.

to the point where i no longer use the cotton on the ends of the Q-tips, i remove the cotton and use the sharp plastic to scratch the inside, deep. sometimes i scratch so hard that they bleed and i won't stop.

the other day i bled for almost an hour on my left ear. the swelling lasted for three days and the pain was kinda rough, but the pleasure i got from relieving that intense itch made it all worth it..

My ears, because that's what they were originally made for and marketed to do. In fact it was common "in the old days" to use them for cleaning babies' ears. Yes, babies. It's a joke now with the box showing it used on eyelashes. Like I'm sure that's what the majority of consumers are doing with them. Using Qtips in ears is like speeding and fireworks: authorities tell us we shouldn't do it, but most everyone does anyway.
 
I use them for applying lip-balm stuff to the whammy bar mechanisms on my guitars to stop them going out of tune during bouts of extreme dive-bombing.

Of course! Considering that the ear canal is part of the outer ear. I can't get a paperclip past my eardrum (or tympanum, to use the proper word). I can't even get near it, there's a bend in the canal. But then, there's no waxy buildup in the middle ear or inner ear, so there's no need to.

Seriously, it's not a straight hole as pictured below, it's got a bend in it; a paperclip (using the rounded sides, not unbending it and jamming the wire in) can't get to the tympanum. Neither can a Q-tip. But what a Q-tip can do is pack the wax in tighter, like a ramrod in a gun, that's why they've got warnings on; a paperclip just scrapes the sides without pushing on the wax.

It also feels fantastic.

I use them on my ears. I have pulled out some nasty stuff with them too. I am careful about not going too deep.
 
I use them for cleaning electronic equipment such as the fins in heat sinks , make-up application such as finer lines in face paint applications prior to a little Bathory, for gluing things, cleaning silver/jewelry.
I have found many uses for these things over the years.

Recently I used them to dab some strong anti-biotic suave up my nostril to stamp out a staph infection.

Then I think it was last Thursday or Sat night I cannot remember I saw some larger black gal at the club and she had about 5 of them stuck on her hiney, but I do not think she realized it. However perhaps it was part of her look? I didn't ask. No one told me I had some toilet! paper stuck to my shirt either!
 
^what vulgar said. I used them for cleaning electronics or tight spaces. I don't use them in my ear. I have a mimikaki that my Vietnamese friend gave me that I guess is quite popular in Asian countries.
