I would note that the PQ got 30.9% of the vote. The Liberals got 30.2% of the vote.
Not a ringing endorsement for separatism.
It wasn't a vote for separation, it was an election.
Oh, and there are other separatist parties (Québec Solidaire and Option Nationale for example). AND, some separatists vote for la CAQ (or are even members of it).
I've said what i had concerning the subject, and all i'Ve gotten in terms of replies have been how Québec would die and go to hell if we were to separate. Of course, that's all we hear from Canadians.. all the time. It gets tiring.
Even our most federalist leader Jean Charest said a few years ago that Québec had all the ressources to be independant.
It's not a matter of IF it's gonna happen.. it's just a matter of WHEN.
