Can someone explain to me the point of a gay apy-station that sanitizes their content for family viewing?

No wonder LOGO is tanking.

They ran Queer As Folk in Canada , Uncut at 10PM on regular broadcast TV. (and Sex & the City, too)

Why wait? I can tell you... they bleep-bleeped the swearing and cut out a lot of scenes. The hottest parts of Hard Pill suffered that treatment on LOGO. I was kinda shocked when I saw the missing scenes when I ordered the uncut (heh) version from Netflix...

You know, I know how you feel (I didn't put up much of a fight when the Showtime I ordered {that I stopped paying for soon after I did} got axed), but like I told the really cool African American lesbian who works the graveyard shift at the gym, I really recommend that you watch Season 5. It *really* does redeem the show, and this is from someone who *hated* QaF (and Debbie, too)! I only liked Justin's mom and sometimes Lindsay (I think, anyway; I always confuse the two; the one played by Thea Gill). I think I also liked Justin's fag hag.

Did you see Randy Harrison whisper something in his ear on the episode of Larry King where they all appeared? When Larry asked him what Randy said, he simply replied... 'I can't repeat it.'

That really changed my perception of the actor, if not the character he played. He seems to have a bit of mystique going for him... (even though I still am not attracted to his face or body, much...)

QaF and the producers who write it will *never* write alternate endings. They're way too 'unapologetic' for that sort of thing.

I agree that it sucked that Brian and Justin couldn't have ended up together. Someone I didn't expect to rent this (from Netflix, same as me; although I'd seen it before from Showtime on Demand) was spoiled when I told her something from the last few discs she hadn't seen...

On the version LOGO is showing, the curse words are not bleeped out or substituted for something else, (Fuck/freak) The sound goes silent and all you see is the actors mouths move. It's how LOGO edits everything ](*,)

Oh man, I have always felt that way as well.
I waited and waited, especially in the last few episodes for them to hook up.
Brian and Mikey did love each other very much, just not in a sexual way, which of course happens in real life, I have a friend from high school I love, but have no interest in sleeping with him. It happens!

The only reason they were 'hot' together is because you could relate to the *intense*, unrequited love Michael felt for Brian. We've all been in that situation... being so close to the person... them knowing how we feel... but them telling us it's simply not meant to be.

If it weren't for that, Michael & Brian wouldn't be *hot* at all... certainly neither of the actors are necessarily aces in the looks department...

There are actually several extras available on the disc that contains the final episode. I've taped it off of the DVD (which I rented from Netflix), but haven't bothered to watch it yet. Didn't care for the final episode and I'd seen it so many times, so...

The only extended scene I want, is for Justin to show up at Babylon, and the final shot would be of Justin and Brian kissing as the camera pulls away.

Truly.. I mean.. it was a waste of some fans' loyalty. How can one builds up the whole momentum, and then don't reward them for being patient with the 5 years' story-telling...

Maybe they should come up with a QAF - The Movie.
 
Few weeks ago we saw the last epidsode of the First Season here in Germany. QAF started this January in Germany. My God, the last episode was soooo sad. Now the second season starts. I read many about all 5 seasons BUT why is the guy, who hit Justin, a free man?
Sharon Gless as Debbie is wonderful. I like her since Cagney and Lacey.
