A while back I read that a certain percentage of the population is asexual. They are not attracted to anyone. I've been told that how gay guys feel about women asexuals feel about everyone. Ok, this part I get. I've also been told that some asexuals have very strong sex drive.

Just inquiring. How does it work? Do they just masturbate to relieve the sex drive if they don't wanna have sex with anyone but is horny AF?

I imagine that asexuals are probably intimacy averse rather than not attracted too anyone so masturbation would be the answer to their urges.
I used to know a Buddhist who had sworn off sex and he said that after a while there was no interest at all. We used to hang out naked quite often and while I was invariably semi hard, from him there was not a flicker

I have had a couple of questions about asexuality.

1. Are there really any individuals who are truly asexual? Some people may have a low sex drive for whatever reason, but does that mean that sexuality has no role in their personal makeup or history? Does that mean they do not even encode matters relating to sexuality in their memories?

2. I have noticed there seems to be a tendency to include asexuals under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. If some people are truly asexual, wouldn't that mean that we as a gay community have no more right to claim asexuals than the straight community?

Well T is included in LBGT and that's more a matter of gender identity than sexual orientation. LBGT has become something of a dumping ground for anyone who isn't mainstream heterosexual (hence the Q+ etc).

^ Maybe that's why.

The more people I plunge into, the more asexual I become.

I had always considered I am actually faithful to a man I have not met and will never met, and the rest of my "experiences" is just part of my being curious and whimsy about manhandling *pun* and sampling anything that my more or less confused or, rather, inexperienced sexual drive had encountered on its way.

Like the sexual and affective equivalent of the rest of my mental *pun* castle.
