I don't like labels, they're horrible.

But, I value succinctness also...

Are guys that are more feminine generally attracted to guys that are more masculine?

Specifically, do you think feminine gay guys are more attracted to masculine guys? Bisexual masculine guys?

I understand that nothing is concrete, but I would appreciate any insight/experience into this.

Thank you!

There's no correlation that I know of.

I'm what I would consider a masculine guy and I only like masculine guys sexually.

That doesn't say anything about anyone else though. I know masculine guys who are attracted to more feminine guys, vise versa, and feminine guys who are attracted to feminine guys more.

I'm a masculine guy myself and only other masculine guys attract me. If only more of the fem guys that I know were a bit brighter and more "real" then I might like them. A fem guy sort of reminds me of a child...nothing there that fascinates me.

some guys are into the kind of guys they are themselves. some guys are into their opposites. stop worrying and make a move already.

for what its worth, i get the impression that there are more fem guys into traditionally masculine guys than the other way around. nothing solid, just a feeling i have. so youre probably in a good position, statistically.

guy should always look like a guy :2 cents:

Thanks for that wisdom. You'll get along great with your alter-ego Justlove.

I think I'm in the nebulous region between fem and masculine, although I'm told by co-workers, strangers and friends that I don't come across as "gay" (I think I do). I'm attracted to masculine guys but I think I'd get along better with a nebula, er, "in-between" guy. I think x-cess is spot on.

That answer to your question is that it depends on the guy. Some masculine guys are attracted masculine guys, some to fem and some to both. The same can be said for fem guys. There are no stereotypes that can be applied.

I'm a more fem guy, and I generally get along/am attracted to very butch, masculine dudes, but I agree that there is no rule of thumb.

exactly. its the same problem as i have with girls...they just seem superficial. i'm masc and only interested in masc as well. that seems to the be trend ive noticed among other masc guys. cant speak for femm guys don't really know any.

hi royal heart. Is that you in the pic? you look very cute.

I like guys who are inbetween more than anything. A guy that's too macho is just too intimidating or something. A guy that's too feminine is just the thing where 'if I wanted to date a girl, I'd be straight.'

both hyper feminine and hyper masculine men are too intimidating. Power is the opposite of eroticism to me. A sharing of power, or giving up power is what makes anything 'hot.' That's how I view it anyway.

I'd say I float somewhere in that nebulous region as well and to be completely honest I think a lot more guys (gay or straight) live in that region than do lean heavily to the fem side or masc side. For that reason I think it's impossible to make a guess as to what "most" fem guys and masc guys are attracted to. The point is we're all attracted to other guys. Period.

In a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say I'm a 7 when it comes to masculinity, I'm not the butchest, but I'm not a girly man either; I'm just normal. In my case, I'm generally attracted to men who are manlier than me.

But for me, masculity and femininity isn't just about mannerisms, it has a lot to do with personality traits; for example I'm more caring and expressive, which is considered a typical femenine behaviour, and I look for strong and protective men, which is considered a typical masculine behaviour.

I can't speak for averages but Im bi and very masculine. I mean, nobody would ever think I was bi. And Im definitely only attracted to masculine dudes.

i think most fem guys think they are females an therefore want a male for a bf

and some want a gf in a guy

On either end of the spectrum, one can always overindulge on the mannerisms and character... overly feminine is a bit much in extended does, and overly masculine reads as "over-compensating" to me..

A happy medium is nice.

I'm about 99% fem guys do not think they are female. I'd imagine the penis and balls between their legs would tip them off. Just saying.
oh they tbink they are a girl

dress like a woman
talk like a woman
move like a woman
walk like a woman
think like a woman and therefore

date men like women would
and befriend women the same way women would

all of this done with a dick dangling

it does not stop a thing
