Firdtly it is one of the least painfull piercings to have done, and when you
tell guys this they just dont believe you.
The reason why is that there are no nerve-endings in your urethra so the
only bit of fleeting pain you feel is when they push the needle through your
dick just under the penile glans and honestly it is all over so quickly that by
the time you register the pain it is done.
Alas like all piercings if you leave the Albert out for to long then yes it does
heal over, though removing it for a night or so is fine.
Hope this has helped answer your very common-sense questions.
If you have it done just make sure you go to a reputable piercer who opens
all the sterile packs in front of you, good luck.
