When you see guys in sleeveless shirts (or being shirtless) in everyday situations (i.e. not at the beach or during participant sports) what kind of notice do you take of the armpit--hairlength/type/wetness/odor/etc?

(I'm trying to grasp my obsession and it would be great to know what people without the fetish are thinking.)

Another way of asking: When you wear a tanktop in public do you consider that your pit is publically out there?

'ppreciate the reply but I'm looking for answers from straights (or "nearstraights") who wouldn't necessarily have an interest in pits. I wanna ask dudes who don't get attracted to that part of the body about that.

I think finding guys on JUB who do dig pits would be kinda easy, esp given the multiple forums about the obsession.
 
I don't believe you will find the audience that you are seeking when posting in this forum. I am 100% gay but can tell you that armpits are just not my thing. I find it gross as I know how much bacteria accumulates in that region of the body and can definitely not help but think about the smell. The only time I find it partially erotic is if the arms they are linked to are defined and not have a lot of veins showing. I also prefer the shaved look though I would never shave my own. That is the only exception to the rule and even then I find it disgusting the majority of the time.

Of course Arm-Pits are noticed more by Dudes that have a "Pit-Fetish". I have an "Ass- Fetish" so I'm gonna check out the "booty". But for the most part Men & Women that don't have an "Ass-Fetish" check out each other Butts...

For me if I Dude is shirtless & raises his arms I 'd rather see a lot of hair or some hair. Hairless is alright if he can't grow any..A Dude with hairy-pits is more Sexy than no hair...I like to munch on nipples so I deff notice the chest before my eyes move to the pits......

I have moderately hairy-pits and my old Bi-Bud Love Sniffing & Munching on them...I've never tried Licking Male or Female Pits but it's not something I would ever rule out...
 
I'd skipped several grades growing up, so needless to say I was the last one in my class to sprout pubic hair. Whenever I saw another guy from another school wearing a tank top with pit hair, I knew he had to have pubic hair down there. Lol ... to this day, I am obsessed with body hair and absolutely hate it when a guy shaves his pubes or pits.
 
I love seeing good-looking younger guys without sleeves. The hottest are t-shirts that are cut manually to become cut-offs... usually there is a lot of torso showing, and it's the best. Guys showing off their pits without a care for the world, giving no thought to it being sexy, is pretty awesome.
