I thought this might be a good place to ask a question that I've always wondered about, as there do seem to be straight guys here, or at least formerly straight who've now decided that they may want to explore their bi side.

I've been attracted to straight guys since I was very young, and had some good friends, as well as class mates as a teen who I thought were extremely hot. I've never been a very forward kind of guy, and always tried to shield my interest, to keep straight guys from noticing my desires for their bodies, but I'm sure some may have noticed, but they never acknowledged my looking them over with lustful eyes as they undressed for swimming or sports.

I also have continued checking out hot straight guys throughout my adult life, at work, at the gym, or in the street. I am never blatant about it, but my eyes are always drawn like magnet to a handsome young face or a hot body and my question for very good looking straight guys is, are you aware of gay guys checking you out, and does it bother you or are you complemented by the attention that they pay to you because of your looks?

I'd be most curious to hear your responses. Thanks.

My gaydar is pretty good, so I'm usually aware when a gay guy has me in his sights. As far as being bothered by it, I've had some be very tactful about it and that fine - one likes to look at what one likes to look at, and it's resulted in some interesting times. Some others have been overly obvious and crude and lucky I let my better angels take over or they'd be hurting units.

The thing is that straight guys are still 92% (+ or -) of the population, so that's what Mike's exposed to. Plus a lot of people tend to want what they can't have for a myriad of reasons, the taboo of something being a big one. Granted that he will only set himself up for disappointment if he focuses only on straight guys, but there's nothing wrong in and of itself that he finds them hot.

No, nothing wrong with that, but when he said he is attracted to straight guys, I took it to mean more than just enjoying the view. Sorry if I was wrong.

Duke Mike, I understand how you feel.. I tend to ALWAYS fall for straight guys and they are usually JOCKS on top of that ! LOL But, I've never tried to push myself on them, I'm just not that kind of guy.... That is the biggest turn off for me if someone I'm not interested in puts the moves on me.. Maybe that is why I'm single and home alone on Saturday afternoon ! :) I totally understand how you feel !

I doubt you can get accurate results on this forum since they wouldn't be here if they were narrow minded about it.

I think more guys don't mind it or even embrace it than most of us think. Some guys even like to flirt with gay guys, sometimes to the point of being a teaser (especially when they are good looking and aware of it).

But then again I live in a very open minded country when it comes to being gay. They never manage to make the clubs anything more than gay friendly because they become popular for straight people as well.

Hey man!
I think I'm one of the few straight guys you were referrring to in your first post.
Yeah, I actually do notice when somebody is checking me out whether it's a girl or boy. I simply feel complimented by that.
I know a lot of guys are getting worried when a guy is checking them out because they start to think: 'Do I look gay, because a guy is checking me out?' amd they feel uncomfortable then.
I can't understand that at all. As a straight guy you're not gay because a guy has been looking at you in a certain way... it just doesn't make sense or does it!?
Str8Top got it right: One likes to look at what one likes to look at. That's how it is.

Peace, Sam :-)

P.S.: I hope you think that I'm 'very good looking', 'cause you were asking for their opinions... ;)

Yes Sam. I checked your photos in your Calvins, and yes you are very much the kind of guy that I was talking about. ;)

It is what it is.

How do you know that many of those guys don't dress for the attention of other guys?

As Gay men, for me, there's nothing more than "you want a cheap fat slut to want to date you when you're wearing your jeans below your knees," than a fat pedophile who want's buy you candy, and pay for you last semester at community college.

Most "very good looking straight guys" would rather go home by themselves, watch some "gay porn" and dream of the day when some hot chick will eat their ass like gay guys do in gay porn.

The only difference between "Gay Porn" and "Straight Porn" is that in "Gay Porn" you can imagine oneself in "either" position. ;)

sixthson, I was referring to your first blog, it made very good sense.

Although I'm not straight, I have the same energy/presentation as a straight guy. I can usually tell when a guy that is gay is checking me out, especially at the gym.
