ok a co worker just got his lower lip pierced and he is almost 40 years old. I dont get it.

he says he is doing it for the ladies but everyone around him behind is back are prettyy much calling him gay. i know he is GAy also because i saw on bis phone an ADAM $ ADAMapplication.

anyways my questions is not about him


its about another co worker seeing him and calling him a FREAK. most ethnis guys will understand this but ithink my other co worker said this in terms as in a freak as in a man who does freakky things.

my question is if you are totaly str8 and not bisexual, why would you call another man a freak, doesnt it seem my coworker just outed him self by calling the other guy with his lip pierced a freak (as in freaky) i thought sttr8 guys only use terms like that for chicks they consider as fuckable.

my brother has his lip pierced, and i know for a fact he isn't gay, and as for the app on the phone, maybe he is bi but for all you know he downloaded it to see what it is, and when someone calls someone else a freak, i am pretty sure it is never used in a positive manner and when used towards women i am pretty sure it doesnt mean they want to fuck them, freak is commonly used to mean freak of nature, often unfairly used towards disabled or deformed people,
 
If someone said to me that they thought another man was a freak - i would interpret it to mean, "He is really odd" or "weird".

nope you are wrong amonsgt black people when u say a girl is a freak that means shess freaky as in she will do nasty things your girlfriend wont do...so its a positive thing..thats why i was surprised when he said the guy was a freak
 
I'd be more concerned about yourself, you being on a site that's obviously a site for bi, gay, and cur guys that you call your co-worker a "freak" and "homo". "Freak" means different things to different people and the first uses of it by you and those you mentioned all had bad connotations.

Even among black people "freak" isn't always a good thing. It's often a negative judgement, even though guys will seek "freaks". It's more like saying a that person is a slut or whore, just because they can't wrap their heads around what the "freak" is into.

Well, you said "I think." Are you sure he used the word "freak" in the context of being freaky sexually? Whether he's black, white, purple, blue, I'm sure people of all races have used "freak" in the context of weird
 
This is all contextual. If the guy saying it - was a black dude; then it was in reference to the pierced guy's desire to be very sexual. It is hard to gage if it's meant as a put down; or just observation that that other person does more things in bed than this dude would ever do. You'd have to ask the guy who said it and what he meant by that for better understanding.

But this is a common phrase for the longest, "getting my freak on" or "freak me baby"...that implies having uninhibited sex with someone.


Of course, the dictionary definition of freak has negative connotations & values. That's why I said this is all contextual. It depends on the person saying it, and how he feels about that person.

Wow I feel like a nerd converting the vernacular here haha.
