Just wondering, loaded question:
How come bears/stocky men don't like younger guys?

I wouldn't say none of them do. The ones who don't, it could be because they feel like the younger guys are just using them for a sexual fantasy.

bit of psych: maybe its just being attracted to someone similar to you?

I find bears from 30 to 45 just so hot... but they always seem to be
with other bears only =(. I find very few bears want younger dudes.

and yeah, it is a bit of a sexual fantasy, but you know, even women cannot resist a stocky and hairy stud. They're just so masculine and manly and makes me weak in the knees....

Not in all cases. I was with a hot muscle bear last year and it was fun. I would say that two-thirds of bears mingle with their own while one-third are open about anything.

Pedobear disapproves of this thread.

Just a really, really lame in-joke and meme.

Yeah I'm pretty sure my existence alone proves that bigger bears like a young, smaller and non-hairy man.

>>>What an asshole.

Perhaps a bit. But the question could've been found offensive as well. I sort of read it as "well, everybody else is attracted to young guys, so what's wrong with THESE guys?"

About as asshole-y as an obvious lesbian telling some frisky straight guy to bugger off.

The OP obviously didn't spend a lot of time examining the whole bear phenomenon, or he'd know that most bears are not normally interested in younger guys.

In the pre-Google age, we learned by asking questions. Which is what he was doing.

>>>I got promoted to assholedom immediately after.

For good reason. :)

I firmly believe that homophobia comes from ignorance. And I also firmly believe that ignorance can only be cured by education. So when somebody has a question about "the gays", I try to answer. And I try to do so in such a way that not only will answer the question, but will encourage others. Because people ain't gonna learn if they don't want to. And if you answer a question in an assholish sort of manner, it'll simply make them think "these guys are assholes" and stop asking questions. Yes, the question was a bit on the ignorant side, but if you give him enough information (in a pleasant way), he'll start moving further and further away from ignorance. I understand the satisfaction of slamming the door in someone's face, but I'd rather invite him in.

I'm not a schoolteacher that has to give answers to obvious questions. In my experience the questioners are seldom in a mood conducive to learning.

Which is exactly the point when one is confronted with the wanton passion of an undesirable.

Sub-cultures are little corners of society that are pleasant to people who are otherwise marginalized. Initiates had better tread lightly there, especially bi-sexuals.

Doggies that ride up people's legs don't usually end up having sex with the owner.

now that i'm in my mid 30's, i find i'm getting TONS of attention from guys in their VERY early 20's (and some 18 and 19 year olds LOL).... it's bizarre. when i was 20, i wasn't looking for 36 year olds.

i'm not complaining, mind you. hah

I think i technically fit the bear profile -(seeing as how I'm not gay till "later") but when that day cums - I would be seriously interested in a younger man- My fantasies include furry 30-40 somethings - but i have this one "special" fantasy and the other guy is in college and furry, and uncut and -- ummmm... nevermind..
