Choose a picture of something you enjoy, maybe a character from a tv show/movie, a symbol that means something to you, or a pic of yourself!

As you can see, I polished my head and changed my red bulbs :P

Just be certain that, if you use a person other than yourself, the photo displays an individual at least 18 years old. (In other words, the person may now be 27 years old, but if he was younger than 18 at the time of the photograph, you can't post it.)
 
I have always posted my own picture as my avatar every ware I post. I prefer people to know what I look like

Yes, the avatar is of me. It's so weird that even though some of the avatars aren't that person's, I still think that they look like that in real life.

Some Jubbers post really gross avatars and I don't particularly care for them, but really, cgy, you can have whatever tickles your fancy for an avatar (no underage pics allowed, though, even pics of you as a child).

I usually post something snarky about gay 70s porn stars moonlighting as marketing spokesmen using sex to sell cleaning products to desperate suburban housewives, but since you're seriously asking about avatars...

Choose whatever you like. There's a wider variety of avatars here at JUB than most message boards. You can express a side of yourself you don't let out very often, or an alter-ego, or something that represents who you are, or just a pic of yourself.

People change their avatars sometimes, too. Some people have an avatar-of-the-day, it seems.

I chose mine because I've always had a little thing for The Brawny Guy -- seriously, I thought he was hunk-dillyicious when he debuted in 1974. I was 8 and couldn't keep my eyes off him. And, I also have a bit of a snarky side, although I'm a really nice guy, so I like to poke a little fun at gay porn, corporate America, and jack-off cleanup products. :)
 
The photo in my avatar is not me...duh.

But when I was on my old account I did have a picture of me on my avatar for a while (2004 into 2005) then replaced it with other things after someone messaging me saying I was too fat and not good looking as the other members. So now I use bears in my avatar and siggy, and to show my love for video games I post video game theme siggies.
