“Nights through dreams tell the myths forgotten by the day.”

― C.G. Jung, Memories, Dreams, Reflections

I do not believe this narrative that Musk is autistic. Autistic people feel empathy deeply, but have difficulty conveying their empathy to others.
I am very sad and hurt to hear people starting to connect Musk's actions and statements to his "supposed" autism. It's wrong, dangerous, and threatening to autistic people.

Publicly disparaging empathy is not a characteristic of autism. It is a characteristic of a psychopath and a narcissist who would have no problem damaging an entire group of people to scapegoat their own cruelty, greed, and selfish ambition.

“Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time? That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains, everywhere and that the present only exists for it, not the shadow of the past nor the shadow of the future.”

― Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha

“You're thinking about something, and it makes you forget to talk.”

― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

“If you're reading this...

Congratulations, you're alive.

If that's not something to smile about,

then I don't know what is.”

― Chad Sugg, Monsters Under Your Head
