Loved her in Remington Steele and as Ray's mom in "Everybody Loves Raymond". 90 years is a good run!

The thing I remember about her was when she used her fame to try to educate and make people aware of GERD and she was one of the first people I heard talk about it.....and it meant alot because I had it as well and also thanks to her in large part it is managed well enough through my diet and how I eat...

So...RIP Doris ...and Thank You ((()))

I knew Doris--I worked on a project with her---she was a wonderful sweet woman---who could do it all but was especially good at comedy ----she stayed active for a long time ----even though she was so tiny and fragile looking ---she was very strong. She had a lot of gay friends too lol. Condolences to her son and rest of her family.

I loved Doris. Raymond? Not so much. I couldn't stand him and couldn't watch the show.

Rest now, Doris. Say 'hi' to Peter.

I liked her, she seemed like a sweet heart. RIP Doris, you made people smile....

I loved her in the role of the meddling Mother who put guilt trips on everyone.I think
she was a natural, and far better than other TV Moms at her craft. Here she is exclaiming
"Oh my God,I'm a lesbian" after she sculpted something that everyone thought looked like
a big vagina :)

She also had some breif airings of putting her name on some Italian pottery on QVC

R.I.P. Doris and thanks for the laughs...

The world became a much more humane place, when Doris was inviting her audiences to laugh at life's insanities.

Valete...ero cum te....

She wasn't Italian she was Jewish --but she was married to the love of her life---an Italian man who died many years ago---so she played an Italian Mom real well---not that there is a huge difference between a meddling Italian Mom and a Jewish one.lol

Her and Peter Boyle made Everybody Loves Raymond.

RIP.

Marie was a carbon copy of MY mother-in-law. Rest in peace, Doris.

Funny....fruit of the month club.....

He got us in one of those ^fruit of the month cults

I can't talk...there is too much fruit in the house....

Ok...last one...

Don't forget Marie Barone's Tofu turkey :)

Loved her as Marie Barone. I continue to watch the reruns of "Raymond" and still laugh out loud. Watch them before I go to bed so there's a smile on my face when I hit the pillow for "lights out". RIP Doris. :=D:
