So very sorry to hear your sad news. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Be sure that he loves you still, just as you still love him. He is on a journey, but you still have all your memories .... treasure them, he will always be with you!
Don't worry about yesterday, you didn't forget him & I'm sure he was glad you called. No one can know the time of a loved one's passing, the love between you is the most important thing.

We can't always be on pins and needles otherwise we'd end up exhausting ourselves. So don't feel guilty that you didn't see him at that precise moment. I'm sorry for your loss, but at least now there's peace.

Went to see my Gran earlier this Morning with my parents (and some other family members).
My parents are still there, and will spend most of the day there (as will the rest).

Aaw, Millzee, that's so sad.
Please don't beat yourself up for not seeing him yesterday; you couldn't have known that he would pass away this morning, and feeling guilty won't help you to deal with your grief.
I'm sorry for your loss my friend; try and take some comfort from the fact that you and your Grandad had a good relationship whilst he was alive.
i'm really sorry hearing he passed away. but i agree 100% with hoody. you can't second guess yourself, you had no way of knowing he wouldn't make it through the weekend and you did call him. so he knew you were thinking of him. don't feel too bad.
