'Family Feud' show host Richard Dawson dies

Richard Dawson, the wisecracking British entertainer who was among the schemers in the 1960s sitcom Hogan's Heroes and a decade later began kissing thousands of female contestants as host of the game show Family Feud has died. He was 79.

No disrespect intended, but I really thought he had already been dead for many years.
Oh well, I will always remember him for the tv enjoyment he brought my family during his Feud years.

Richard Dawson was a decent comedian and a great guy!

I loved him on "Hogan's Heroes" as British Army soldier, Peter Newkirk.

He was a priceless game show staple, whether is was on the panel of Match Game, or hosting Family Feud.

He was a despicable character in the Arnold Schwarzenegger film, The Running Man, proving his versatility.

He was an icon of the first television generation, who will be missed.

RIP, Richard...you were a class act, all around!
