Ethincs? ETHICS? Is your Freudian slip showing?
(OK, if you meant demographics...)

I'm appalled by what happened in Dallas, AND by what has happened on the streets in Baton Rouge and Falcon Heights, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn, Cleveland, ... - and the various mass shootings etc.
Indeed, all lives matter.
But, at the moment, Black Lives are indeed under more assault than most other lives, and that recognition is necessary. It's not "just" death-by-cop, but also poor representation which often sends blacks to Death Row (and a white person with the same crime gets 5-10 years), etc.

Anyone can be a racist. White people can be racist against blacks, blacks can be racist against whites. People can be racist against Jews and Muslims.

Agreed. Racist is not confined ONLY to feelings about other races (which, in this world, are usually classified as only three divisions), but to other demographics that can be defined or quantified.
This is ENGLISH, after all. If "racist" as an adjective is more expansive than only the differences between "the three human races," it is/will be FAR from the first time that the noun (or verb, or adverb) and adjective forms of a word have taken on FAR DIFFERENT MEANINGS.
The best example I can think of is "conservative" - think of what that word means nowadays, as compared to CONSERVATION, or TO CONSERVE.
