Rachel Ray: Can We Really Handle Another Show?

I feel like she ran out of things to say after her third episode of "30 Minute Meals." Now she has 4 shows on the Food Network. Does she really need a daytime talkshow?

I used to like watching Rachael Ray's 30-Minute Meals (E.V.O.O.) and $40.00 A Day.

She does have energy and enthusiasm which is sometimes contagious, but when I started noticing her on other shows, I realized she was beginning to be a bit too much.

I remember reading somewhere that after Martha Stewart had all her prison troubles, that the Food Network began talks to setting up Rachael to fill Martha's shoes. But with five shows on television and her own bimonthly magazine, Rachael Ray Magazine, I think she's closer to becoming the next Oprah...

i love Rachel Ray but i do feel that ANOTHER show is too much! but hey i havent seen her new show so i might feel different about it. but i think shes appealing to everyone. shes beautiful so the guys like her and women like her for the fact shes makes these huge meals so simple to make. basically she looks cool to hang with

Seriously, I got tired of her and her botching of the English language a while ago(DEE-LISH) And excuse me I dont need a "garbage bowl", my garbage is like 3 feet away! Ok Im off my Rachel Ray rant...and didnt she say on Letterman that most of the places and food she tries on 40 dollars a day suck??? So its a little wierd for me ever since watching that to see her trying all these cool places and in the back of her mind shes thinking "this place sucks".

Actually, I don't think her being on The View is that bad of an idea. Of course, I don't think it should be in addition to her new talk show, it should be instead of her new talk show. I just don't see her being able to fill a whole hour with just herself. However, The View currently is looking for a new co-host and I think her personality would match well with the other women.

yep... she's annoying alright and so is Giadda De Laurentis. Now, I wouldn't mind being sandwiched between the two boys (Bobby & Jaime) from the Paula Deen show. I think they have their own show now called Road Tasted. I think.

I really like Rachael so I can't say anything bad about her other than her bubbly personality wearing on me at times.

Rachel actually runs a very organized kitchen! Having only 30 minutes to present her idea of multiple entrees, she had better be organized. I don't find her annoying and I must admit that I always manage to find something fascinating about her shows (except anything she does with shrimp or other shellfish). And, did I read somewhere that Oprah was the force behind getting Rachel her own show?
