Racist Car Wash Name : Duke And Lee

I was driving through Geneva Illinois last weekend saw a car wash named DUKE AND LEE.

Ok I can understand some people have a false sugar-coated conservative view of the American civil war.... I learned not to touch that subject anymore.

But we all KNOW who David Duke is... and General LEE? Cummon. If it was General Lee's Carwash and they had some sugar coated view that the war wasn't over slavery... I can let it go... but to put his name with Duke... (David Duke was a white republica n and leader of the Ku Klux Klan less then 20 years ago.

I'm surprised more people haven't complained about the racial reference made in the car wash name.

I called them and asked why they would have such an offensive name for a place they said because the owner who passed away had a grandfather that knew General Lee and admired him and when I asked about duke he said uhhh dont know then hung up.
