why is it that guys post ads on craigslist or state on their adam4adam profiles that they want only "white or latin guys"?? I know everyone has their own tastes but why is race or skin color a factor in deciding good sex? Its as if these guys dicks wont get hard from the site of darker skin tones?? I just dont understand it..discrimination within the gay community?!? The hate never stops!! I've had so many guys want to fuck me when they hear my stats..as soon as i send a pic of my chest (six pack btw) they stop contact just beause of my skin color!!!!

Like one guy said "white and latin guys only" in his ad. I had talked to this guy before and after he saw my skin tone he ignored all emails. So this time I e-mailed him calling him racist and asking why he was discriminating. He proceeds to give me "examples" to justify his actions: "If you dont like italian food does that make u racist?" WTF He compared human beings to food!! The nerve of these people.. :mad:

Stop trying to convince yourself its not racism. Some people find racism acceptable..most dont. Just admit your racism is all I'm asking.
 
I don't think it's racist at all, everyone has different tastes as to what turns them on and for him, latin guys don't turn him on...I'm sure there are things that don't turn them on...

BTW...does craigslist really work for hook ups? It just seems odd to me...

Your right by saying it is not being racist, But it still is being selfish and narrow minded. Ppl are people and sex is sex. Love is the key to all workings of a beautiful thing. But if color has something to do with it, shut off the damn lights and no one will know your skin color.... STOP the HATE, it's been 250 years now, get over and beyond it ppl.:grrr:

I have a cousin who is white and will only date black guys - does that make her a racist?
 
Men are rejected all the time for various reasons. Some may have bad teeth, may be over weight, some may just not be very attractive, etc. Someone who is overweight or have bad teeth may have a wonderful personality and be a great human being but most people, including straights, don't want to have sex with overweight people or some whom they do not find attractive.

Looking for sex on Craig's List and expecting to find non-superficial people, is like going to the White House and expecting to find someone in support of Obama. We all have prefences. I am sorry that you feel rejected but we all get rejected. It's part of life.
 
See this is what I can't stand..guys trying to justify it with these absurd examples:

I am racist. I prefer sex with whites. TRUE RACIST
I am sexist. I prefer sex with men. SEXUALITY IS NOT A CHOICE. NEITHER IS RACE.

I discriminate against fatties. Any man over 40 pounds is ignored.-- theres a difference between health and race. You can choose whether to be muscular with six pack abs no matter what race..same with being obese. Not the same thing at all.
 
I was born in a "different" era/culture. "Racism" was a "given"! Skin color determined all kinds of various assumptions! Everyone was "judged" by the color of their skin! Not the "color" of their Hearts and Minds! #-o

But ... I've also been fortunate enough, to live long enough, to learn to know Better! ANYONE'S "outside" is no indication of the awesome potentials that are "inside"!! Cliches abound, and are often dismissed as "trite". But, truly, "Do not judge a book by it's cover!" [-X

I may be "white", but I'm also Short and Small! (But still kinda cute!) Which has always raised some "problems" for me! And, NOW, I'm also "Gray" and "Old"!! Yes! There are more prejudices than just Color!! ](*,)

I get rejected by so very many people, because I am either fat or deaf or too old or all of above. It is hardly any different from racism and reverse racism. I have come to a point where I am ok with myself and not waste any of my time or energy fuming over others' so-called -ism or discrimation. I have plenty to give and they are best given to people who appreciate me for who I am and what I contribute to them and others.:D:=D::gogirl:(!):D
 
I'm not racist, but skinny Asian guys really do something for me. Not all of them obviously, but when I see an Asian guy I usually do a double take.

Now having said that, I do the same for white, black, latino, etc. guys too if I think they look good.
But Asian guys, WOO!

I've put ads up before and stated a preference (ie. Asian), but never mentioned any exclusions beside age and weight. Just a preference thing for me.

I've gotten plenty of pics though and stopped the emails because they weren't my type. Nothing to do with race, just not what I was looking for. I used to just ignore them, but I realized that was kind of a dick move so now I just send them an email and politely decline and wish them luck.


Unfortunately, there are some A-holes who really are just racist pricks. I don't know what to say about those people, except that I'm glad I'm not one.
 
I am white and very attracted to black men.

I don't understand how someone couldn't be attracted to black men(or men of all colors, for that matter), however, I don't know If I think it's racist.
 
I'm black and that's not racist at all. Nobody's obligated to be attracted to a certain race.

Well... no not really. One of the definitions in dictionary.com regarding racism says. "Discrimination or prejudice based on race."

And, sadly, that was taken from the American Heritage Dictionary. In my mind, if they won't even give a black/white/asian/latino/whatever guy a second look or even evaluate who they are before turning them down or ignoring them or whatever, then they are racist (not to be confused with a racist which is a different definition entirely) even if they accept them as friends. I guess you can call it sexual racism? *shrug*

I'm generally not attracted to black guys (and yes, I am black), but if they approach me in a non-repulsive manner and are presentable, then they have my attention 100% (such as the one that lives in my apt complex; I want him......). :)

But, as lucky7 said, they usually aren't worth the effort to even be mad at. I just move on if they act that way. I can't be bothered with people like that.

I never said people HAD to be. I said people SHOULD be.

This isn't about white guys not liking black guys. In my case it was a white guy discriminating against a "Brown" guy . That was MY personal experience. This is about racism in all forms:
Asians liking only blacks.
Whites liking only whites ETC..the combinations can go on forever...

I just dont understand why skin color and race is a factor in deciding someones physical attractiveness. obviously something has affected your brain that has made you find that particular race unattractive. I'm NOT saying your brain dead or anything, im saying something has made you dislike that race sexually..whether it be media or whatever
 
When I lived in the states I was not attracted to black men in general because 99% of the black men who were in my community were either too feminine or too thugish, both of which were complete turn offs for me. However since moving here I found plenty of articulate, intelligent, sophisticated black men whom I would be more than willing to give a chance to.

It had nothing to do with the colour of their skin and everything with the way they presented themselves.
