Radio Contest Dies During Radio Stunt Trying To Win A Wii

You can die from drinking too much water? That's new to me. What happens when you drink too much water? Do the cells burst or something?

You can die from too much anything. That's why it's called "too much".

Didn't this happen long time ago, I heard about it from a radio station. I kind of feel bad for the women but at the same time you shouldn't put something like that in danger over a video game console

So now stupid behavior gets rewarded? This is just retarded. Did someone hold her down and pour it down her throat? Stupid.

How many people would even think you can die from drinking too much water?

It's no stupider than that woman who poured McDonald's coffee in her lap and then won a lawsuit because McD's didn't warn her that the coffee would be hot.

^ You forgot the infamous "Professional driver on a closed course. Do not attempt."

Yeah, this happened back in 2007.

This is old news. Sad news, but old.

Sorry; I missed the one post, and just saw on the news that this is news again. I agree with the verdict; I just don't agree with the jury saying that it would send a message. Even the station itself put safeguards up as almost as soon as it happened.

Still...weren't there enough warnings through hazing law suits?
