The Dailykos ragging on Rand Paul again. Seems Paul likes to refer to Monica Lewinsky when Dems say the GOP has a war on women. I love this line down close to the end of the article. I gotta remember, shut up, that phrase for future use.

Sen. Rand Paul continues to have odd hobbies.

[Rand Paul] keeps connecting the Monica Lewinsky scandal back to Democrats' "war on women" narrative against the GOP. His latest accusation: Clinton was a "serial philanderer."

“For all these people who stand up for Bill Clinton, say ‘He’s the greatest thing since sliced bread,’ he was a serial philanderer but he also is someone who took advantage of women in the workplace,” Paul said Wednesday on "CBS This Morning."

the pay gap is very, very small once you account for stuff like men and women tending towards different fields (eg: female teachers, male engineers) and women being more inclined towards taking time away from the work force to have/raise kids. it's also suggested that within the same profession, males tend to be more aggressive when it comes to asking for raises and negotiating salaries.

That has absolutely nothing to do with saying "we're friendly towards women because look, Monica Lewinsky." Nor does the war on women refer only to pay differences. Perhaps you have missed the string of political news items lately about abortion and birth control?
