Random Act of Kindness?

Trying to crack my head, figuring out a clinic for 2 ladies. At the end, I was no big help.

Gave ten dollars to a homeless person. When I give, it's usually just change or a dollar at most. Needless to say, her reaction was far more than ten times what the normal people do.

I usually give thru charities instead of to homeless people, but every once in awhile, it's nice to see their reactions. I guess that mean's it wasn't entirely selfless.

Carried an old lady's suitcase up the stairs at the train station the other day...

Several months ago, a woman pulled into my parking lot and slowly parked her car in two spaces, kind of on an angle. She was obviously shaken. I walked up to her car and could see she was sobbing. I asked her if she was OK, and she replied she was just looking for a cup of coffee. Then she told me she had just had her last dog euthanised and just left the local veterinary clinic. She was very upset. I said I think I can go make coffee for you. I returned with her coffee and told her it was on me. She thanked me several times, then telling me that she had wasted enough of my time. I assured her she was not wasting my time. I told her I had just lost my yellow Lab less that 2 years ago, and I ccould very well relate to her empty feeling and loss. We talked easily for 20 minutes. We both agreed dogs are better than most people we meet. She was fascinating-traveled extensively-even related the story of rescuing the dog she had just lost from a miserable existance in Mexico, where she and her late husband were living. We talked about her family, etc.
Several weeks later she called on the phone to make a reservation. She identified herself as the lady I was so kind to bring her coffee and comfort her that day. She said it meant more to her then I would ever know.
