Random X-Men question

the third movie was crap? wtf it was awesome the graphics were amazing and besides all the cool chracters losing powers it was amazing...and kity is awesome even thought she has a lame power

Please DO NOT get me started with all the things wrong with all 3 movies, it'd add several pages to this thread. ](*,):grrr::grrr:](*,)](*,)

I do, however, love Kitty Pryde, and think she has awesome powers (in the comics). :D(!):D

PLEASE!

The more important X-men question is this:

What happens if Juggernaut, an unstoppable object, collides with Blob, an unmoveable object?

Chuck Norris dies.

I have to disagree here. Chuck Norris, after being torn out of the real world by a rip in the time space continuum, and depositted into comic book land will gain the superpowers of the Q. He will go all kinds of Martial Arts Master (adding his newly gained Q powers to the assault) and all that will be left of Blob is a handful of inert goo. The Juggernaut, on the other hand will stand a fighting chance, but in the end, the awesome powers gained by Chuck will reduce him to a juggerNOT!

There can be NO other outcome!

if she had any sort of acting ability, Naomi Campbell could've made for a good Storm. nothing against the actor, but i wasn't too happy with James Mardsen's Cyclops either. who would you guys cast as Emma Frost? Heather Locklear maybe?

A younger Nicollette Sheridan. Or a half-foot-taller Christina Aguilera.

Gwyneth Paltrow would make a great (ice queen) Emma Frost---I don't think Halle was given much to work with in the first couple of X-men movies and as for Storm being so commanding and physical that really has only been somewhat of a recent thing. I wish they had gotten someone unknown for the part.

Nicolette would've been PERFECT!!! i think Kristanna Loken(BloodRayne, T3) could work too. mentioned this in another thread awhile back, but i think if he could perfect the cajun accent, Johnny Messner would KILL as Gambit. horrible actor, but i think Alan Ritchson would make a good Cannonball.

It's actually been a pretty integral part of her character from her inception. Storm is one of the best hand-to-hand combatants in the X-verse. Check out this issue of Uncanny from 25 years ago where she defeats Callisto for leadership of the Morlocks without the use of her powers (and almost kills Callisto in the process).

Aisha Tyler says she didn't find out about the X-Men movies until too late, and she was utterly crushed when she found out. Because she actually read the comic books growing up, and always wanted to play Ororo.

For this fact alone, she should've gotten the role. :)

Storm was around long before that battle with Callisto, which was when her character changed--she started out much softer as a "mother figure"---that fight was to show how much she had changed and that she was willing to kill---which she never would have done in the past, and she got that stupid mohawk, but that is recent for me---I am old.

I remember the "transformation", too, alley. When she got the mohawk and the dominatrix gear. It was damned silly. I could understand them wanting to move her beyond the rather one-dimensional, African mother "oh Goddess!" character they originally wrote her as, but methinks they went WAY too far there.

That would've been hot. I always see her giving interviews for video games & comics so I know she'd def. put some effort into playing Storm

And yeah Angela would've have been a an otherwise perfect choice - saw her in Meet the Browns a while ago & she still looks early 30s - definitely would've fit in with the other adult characters.

And yeah Berry was too delicate to play Storm - though she finally toughened up in X3...but then again it was X3

Yeah, I never really liked Halle as Storm, but I guess it didn't matter because those movies were all about Hugh Jackman has Wolverine anyway. And yet they still give him his own solo movie! Which I won't be seeing because I've seen enough of his character on the big screen.

I also wasn't crazy about Anna Paquin as Rogue. She was too whiny or something.

i never really got Wolverine's popularity. the character in general has always annoyed the hell outta me. Hugh's kinda overrated too...sorry guys.

Storm rocked the HELL outta that mohawk!!!

YES!!!! That guy would PERFECT for Gambit, not the poor thing they choose to portray Gambit in the Wolverine movie. Now this...he's sexy as fuck and has that charm about him...JUST like Gambit!
