Re: Is Jamie Stroud (the Aspnergers Guy) Doing Porn as Chip Tanner for Randy Blue
He seems cute to me, this is the first I've heard of him though. He has a different perspective but that's alright by me. I have (or have been diagnosed with) Asperger's Syndrome and I think it's something which is quite different for each person, and different from Autism though they are of the same spectrum. A lot of people use the terms interchangeably, and I think this is wrong. Someone with Asperger's Syndrome is able to live a 'normal life' but with social difficulties. I don't really consider it a disability at all, just a different lens through which to see the world. In some ways it is a gift as I see a lot of things that other people don't. I'm never sure whether to reject or embrace the "Aspergers" label - I don't really mind either way; I think I'm just me. Aspergers is not something you can "tell" someone has just by meeting them once or watching a couple of youtube clips.
I don't know whether he really has Aspergers (or if I believe in using the label), but I can tell he gets very fixated on certain subjects as I do myself. I think it's good that he has an outlet. I'd like to see him broaden his scope a bit but it might not be easy for him or he may not be interested in doing that. It's clear that his upbringing has affected him deeply; the things he fixates on all seem related to this.
I like his youtube video, and I enjoyed his randyblue preview; he's a sexy guy. I haven't seen any of his older videos, so I can't really comment on that. I don't find him disturbing at all from what I've seen, he's just a bit fixated on certain things and enjoys sharing his view on these things with others. I'd have to know him better to decide what I think about him.
