When you get into "consensual non-consent", its a gray area. Is it still role-playing if the bottom says "no" and the top continues anyway, because doing so was agreed to? Is it still role-playing if the top - with the bottom's prior consent - breaks one of the bottom's hard limits? I don't feel the term role-play really fits at that point.
