JUB isn't kindergarten. Everyone's allowed to speak their minds. And because of that, people will throw out a mean and/or spiteful comment once in a while. I get my share of comments, posts, and PMs telling me that I'm wrong and/or an asshole and/or what have you. So what? That's life. People aren't going to always be nice. And as a whole, this place seems friendlier than most messageboards I've spent time on. Is there pettiness? You bet. Are some people shallow? Of course. Are there people I'd rather not see post? You betcha. But I can handle it. I'll take the bad along with the good, because that's how these things operate.
Maybe I'm spending all my time in the wrong threads, but I don't see Brandon (or you) getting smacked down much. In fact, the last time I saw it, it was me administering the smackdown. And why? Because he was saying, again, that nobody liked him. And I smacked him down not because I don't like him, but because every time he says that, it's a putdown to YOU. He's belittling you by saying, in essence, "Nobody likes me. Well, antdak does, but he doesn't count."
So there's a lot of panting going on for the young skinny guys. Why would that bother you two? You've got partners! This is a gay forum, not a "Brandon Appreciation Forum". Some will like you, some won't. Some people here like me, some don't. I'm fine with that.
...and as a side note, can I point out that Kanga was so embarrassed by this outpouring of support, that he BUMPED THE THREAD?
