Okay did anyone see tonight's episode? Ryan completely flipped out when J.D decided to get him back and pull a prank on him. I understand Ryan may be suffering from Post Traumatic Stress due to his time in the military, but honestly that's what happens when you pull childish pranks like that. The whole scott and Devyn situation is really annoying, I don't' think this guy is in to her at all, and I don't think he want's to be rude and say it on national television and hurt her feelings. They are not in a relationship, so why does she freak out every time he brings someone home. She's living in New York City, there are plenty of guys out there who are 10x's better looking than Scott and I think she needs to find one and stop beating a dead horse.
 
Now I see why they don't show much of Scott... continue to blend in with the wall, man.

Ryan is a moron and was completely ridiculous with the prank incident. Pranks are pranks no matter the time so if you can't take it then don't dish it out.

It didn't really show much of the others. Well, it showed Chet quite a bit who I continue to find adorable for some reason. He looked cute in his interview suit, IMO.

Anyways, I'm enjoying this season so far.

Chet is really ugly to me up close. And I'm tired of his over the top hipster ensembles. They are beyond ridiculous. I wanted to knock those terrible glasses off his head. I agree his band interview was good. His Pete Wentz interview was lame and kinda awkward. Then he comes into the room with Scott's friend and farts. wtf?

There is never a time and a place for pranks, the whole purpose of a prank is to catch someone off guard. Like Laststraw said, if you can't take it, don't dish it out.
 
I don't understand all this hate for Ryan, I know he called Kat "it". But that's all he did, there is no continued harassment. I like him and feel sympathy for the things he went through in Iraq. His friend Chett is who I really don't like. He is to opinionated and just a plain jerk most of the time.

I though last nights episode was pretty good. And yes Devym needs to realize Scott is not into her. And if he was he definitely isn't now. J.D is an ass when drinks. And lastly Katelyn should get rid of her "guybrow" I think that would help some.
 
^I cant speak for everyone but Ryan is beyond childish and pretty ignorant about everything. "Of course JD wears magnum condoms, he's latino." And the worst part is he doesnt seem to care about his ignorance.

This war "hero" thing is getting out of hand. Just as expected. It doesnt give him license to act like a fool. Which he does 90% of the time. And he kinda acts as though he was the only one affected by 9/11 and he some kind of hero. I respect that he served and all but he's not Private Ryan.
 
Well, this season has actually gotten my attention for once since there is actually some substance. However, I see that Devyum really likes herself Scott. I guess she is hoping that Scott is going to get with her, but "he just not into you like that, D." Ryan and Scott are very attractive, but Ryan is a douche with issues and Scott is way into himself and borderline attention whore. JD is an alkie with issues, and Chet is a buttaface. Katelyn does need more plastic surgery, but that's my opinion

It was good to see Chet getting out there and getting some experience in his tv/interviewing type deal. I felt bad for him when he kept talking about how much he aspired to be on TRL...when we all knew what was coming. :( Oh well, there's always other avenues to venture down. The only time he irritated me was when he passed gas like someone's annoying little brother. He's so jealous of Scott, it's not even funny.In a way, I think Ryan is too.

Like I said...Scott is a plain Joe in my book--typical guy with good looks...but that's about it. It's just so obvious that Chet and Ryan feel a bit insecure when he's around.

Devyn needs to chill out. It's so sad. Like someone else said--as many men as there are in New York--she's stuck on Scott? :rolleyes: Girl...go out and grab a dude...there's plenty of hotties running around that place. I know it.....|

Yea this season is good. Hollywood i could have given a shit about. Although Greg was good eye candy when his mouth was closed and he was half naked. It is very different from the last several seasons. I'm so glad they moved away from everyone getting wasted and the fakey lesbian 3somes.

I agree that both those fools might be jealous of Scott. Hes the kind of guy that would make straight guys insecure. Especially because he mostly ignores their antics.

I quite like Scott. Hes not exactly the life of the party. But I don think hes as boring as people say. Hes not my type physically but he seems like a good enough guy. He has focus and goals, he likes to go out and socialize, seems genuine and open-minded, and he doesnt like a lot of drama, games, and gossip(Devyn).

Maybe I am missing something, but I don't see what Ryan has done that was so bad besides the "it" thing. There pranks are a bit childish but since when was that a crime. I don't know, but I do feel sympathy over the war thing. I think it would be very cynical not to.
 
Him doing pranks is whatever but once you throw a fit when someone gets you back (and him sleeping does not immune him from getting pranked) like he did, then you become an idiot. Just saying.

If you watch the dalies, you'd see just how much of a douchebag he is. I want to like him, I try to like him but the things that come out of his mouth are so stupid.

Just like in next weeks episode he straight out asks Kaitlyn "Were you born a man?". Even though it's so obvious, if she wants him to know and discuss openly with him, she'd tell him. I know he's going to find out after the show anyways but in a regular situation, that's very unappropriate. People watching that and thinking he's cool are going to think it's ok to just ask people "Are you gay?" and other innappropriate questions. Especially when other people are around.
 
ok I haven't read this whole thread...just this last page here...but wow...I totally don't have a problem with Ryan or Chet....the person I have a problem with is JD. I can't STAND him! He's so annoying and arrogant and thinks he's so much better then everyone and can solve all their problems...then he goes and gets drunk and acts a fool. Nothing that Ryan has done has annoyed me as much as every time JD has been on the screen

LMAO it was funhy how Scott was trying to spit his little game to like every black girl at that party. I could see why Devyn would feel a certain way after seeing that.
 
I'm kind of confused about this whole Scott thing. I honestly don't think he had a girlfriend and he just made it up. For one, he said he didn't have one and his friend (forgot her name) even said he didn't. Also, no pictures of them together or footage of them talking on the phone including the "break-up" which you know the cameras would be all up on that. So, I don't know...

Waaait a minute, what's so innappropiate about asking someone if they're gay???? Would you think it would be innapporpiate to ask someone if they're str8? I don't think so. It seems innappropiate to you because you unconsciously or not, are not a 100% comfortable with the fact that you're gay and you think it might be wrong or embarassing so you wouldn't be comfortable with someone asking you that in public...which says a lot more about you than the person asking such question.

Same thing goes with Kaitlyn, I don't see why she would be uncomfortable if someone asked her that. It's the truth, she was born a man and is nice that someone would even be curious about knowing who she is and how she feels (I'm not defending Ryan, just commenting in general). Someone asking that kind of obvious question is just trying to connect to the pesron and trying to get to know them. In any case, as long as he asked in a polite manner, I don't see what's wrong about that.
 
Asking some if they are straight is not the same thing. We live in a society where it is assumed that everyone is straight. Gay people are an oppressed minority. It is completely different.

People are uncomfortable answering that not because they are personally uncomfortable with their sexuality but because many straight people put all kinds of stereotypes on you after they know. Most gay people want people to get to know them as a person before some idiotic straight guy puts them in a box full prejudices of their limited knowledge about homosexuality. Or they dont want to be made into some encyclopedia where it becomes their responsibility to educate all the straight people on all things gay.

Ryan isnt trying to get to know anybody. He wasnt asking in a way that someone who as any respect or genuine would ask. He was just being nosy so he could run back and tell the others. If you have any kind of common sense you wouldnt use that tone and you would ask them in private so they feel comfortable. Just like people dont yell across a common area if he has ptsd. He is such a fucking idiot and a hypocrite because he didnt want to tell people about Iraq because he wanted people to get to know him first but doesnt think maybe Katelynn wanted people to know her first.
