Why can't they just get an average, normal gay dude?

Every gay man on this show has always been a stereotype.

Come to think of it, all the characters have always been stereotypes.

Thats all MTV is bro. A huge FUCKIN stereotype. Every show all fuckin day long is stereotypical and filled with constant drama. I have found a new hate for MTV. The only way I'll ever watch a season of Real World is if it has a person I personally know or if they offer it on pay per view with all the sex scenes totally uncensored. Then I'd watch until that happens they can fuck themselves...LOL

I watched the first episode as well and was bored. As others noted, same old crap. They seem to always pick people who have some type of serious problem. I figure that the gay guys are usually the most normal as their "problem" is that they are gay (in MTV's eyes). The gay dude on this season says he doesn't go to gay bars (does go to straight bars). He said it like he looks down on people who go to gay bars. I think he also said something about not hanging out with gay guys. The dude definitely has some issues.

Yeah, that's exactly what I felt. He's still dealing with some inner turmoil. That's obvious.

Apparently, his boyfriend appears on the show...I'm dying to see what he looks like.

Hi Surge, I agree we shouldn't pick too hard on him. His parents have a lot to do with his issues. I was just pointing out that he has issues with gay people and has really accepted himself yet. As far as the area he lives in, he certainly has plenty of gay people around as he is from the gay mecca of the south, Atlanta.
