Im but half way through the first airing of the new season and im already bored out of my non existent mind. There are no Ethnics, no gays, no crazy's (Hello Brook) and worst of all, no hot guys. MTV should just trash this entire season and go back to the drawing board . Dare i say even the girls them selves are not that great looking, ok maybe one is but the others are just so so. There personalities are just not interesting what soo ever. We all know ALL women are bitchy as hell and it seems as if thats the only thing there riding off of for this season.
 
The show is looking tired anyway they need to give it a break. I agree i want to see some gays and Ethnics

My favourite seasons are Back to ny and The philly one
 
Coming from a season with Tyree, Colie, Davis, crazy ass Brooke.... this season looks VERY bland.

Plus, the guy from Georgia just automatically makes me feel bad for all Southerners. It's just another hill to climb to prove that well-educated people come from the South as well as any other region of this country.

Isn't Parisa Persian and Muslim? From what I heard, the first Muslim ever in RW.

I think Trsiha is already crazy and has potential to be very crazy. Issac too. And I think Issac is hot.
 
Yeah its funny people are saying there are no ethnic people on the show this season just because there are no black people. You have Parisa, and she essentially acts like the black person would, slightly detached from the group and much calmer and reserved from the group. (excluding Tyree from last season)

it is sad theres no gay person of the show this year. but it seems like they got three guys who all could easily be homophobic but I doubt they are. YES! even the think accented Southerner Cohutta.

and there is nothing wrong with Cohutta. just because he has a think accent means nothing, no different than the thick Boston or New Yorker accent. makes you wonder if any smart people come from up north.

Which I feel is the root of the problem. In order for "Real World" to feel like it's satisfying its diversity quotient, thick accents are a must.

Case in point is Real World: Denver. While both Brooke and Davis were from the South, Brooke was the OBVIOUS Southerner over Davis due to her accent. Now she later distinguished herself beyond the accent because of her mental nature... but that's neither here nor there.
 
i didnt really pay attention to her accent. i guess because i am in texas it doesnt occur to me as much as you or many other people. meh

I can say "I remember when... Brooke called Colie a bitch because Colie bitched about Brooke's macaroni pot."

I saw the first episode tonight and yeah.........I miss the good ol' Real World.

Remember when they actually had interesting people on the show who actually had something interesting to say that made us keep tuning in?? Even the past crazy people were at least interesting and not just acting out for the sake of standing out of the show.

It seems like all the producers do now is go through every white frat & sorority house across america and pluck the dumbest jocks/blonde bimbos who make for "interesting" reality television.

Geesh......
 
YEP this season is looking very bland and boring, just a bunch of boring white people!! Who wants to see that!!!!
 
I have to agree. I was really dissapointed with this season's "Real World". Everyone there is so boring and predictable. This show keeps getting worse by the season. And to make things worse there's no gay character and only one ethnic girl (and she's the "ugly" one).
 
Maybe once MTV realizes that their ratings suck for this season they will make it better next time around.
 
One of the girls looks so much like a stripper that it seems like she's getting paid, or something. I think that the guy with the shaved head is so-so. Boring season, I haven't been watchin RW for awhile now though.
 
The Real World hasn't been good since The New Orleans Season..I miss Danny and Melissa!! They should do a reunion with that cast or Miami..Flora was a riot!
 
Speaking of Brooke, lets all talk about our favorite crazy ass Brooke moments. My fav would have to be when one of the roomies said that she had a slight double chin. She find out, goes back to the house by her self and trash's the guys entire living space. Then passes out crying on the floor. The classic part was when somebody found her layed out on the floor, was the look up on her face. Jesus i seriously believe she is unreal. I feel very much so sorry for the guy that picks them gem up for life. And she seemed so normal when you first meet her, guess its true what they say about every nut.
 
One of my favorite Brooke moments when she freaks out because the guy is taking her bowling.

Seriously Brooke. Get off that damn high horse.
