Ok, I'm not doing something right, maybe. After joining a group, I can never see any of the pictures posted in the messages. I see others responses to them, and each message says something like this

It's not your fault. You must go to the photo sections (and sometimes to "files"), Yahoo don't save attachements to messages any more.
 
I get the Group messages by e-mail, for which I use Eudora. That works extremely well because Eudora automatically stores all the attachments in one directory which I can browse with a viewer (XnView.exe). I see the whole message only if I go back and look for it.

Extra trick: I route them through g-mail (Google) which automatically forwards them to an e-mail ID that I use only for Groups. In several months g-mail has never bounced. (SBC and Yahoo mail often did.) Plus I have a back-up copy at g-mail in case I want to go back and find something.
