hey guys

so i have a problem i need help on. met this really great guy on a dating site (he approached me). chatted for 2 hours-ish then met up and spent hours just talking over coffee. sounds great right? well it would be except i cant work out whether he's really laid back or just not interested in being more than friends.

see he looked a bit distant when we met up but he had plenty of chances to leave if he wasnt enjoying it and we've made plans to hang out again (which weren't set in stone on his part - confusing!)

also he's quite bad with texting back but i know its a bit foolish to base anything on that, especially since he's busy with work and stuff. then again he does work from home which makes the whole thing even more confusing!

what does this sound like to you? i'm just a bit lost and ive never been like this over a guy before... i dont wanna ask him because i dont wanna freak him out or scare him off - we have a lot in common and he's completely my type looks wise.

any help you could offer would be great! thanks!

If you two made plans to hang out again, don't wait for him. If you want to see him again, text or call him back to confirm your next date. If he's uncommitted for the next date, then you know for sure he's not interested. Drop him and move on.

From your description, I don't think he's interested. If you want to confirm, make your move and set the next date with him. What's the worst that could happen? He said no to your date.

...or he could be a serial killer

If you want to see him again, ask him out.

If, after you go out again, you want to take it to the next level, say so.

There's nothing worse than two guys waiting for the other person to make the move. Someone has to- so why not you?

Yes, I hate to tell you, but it sounds like he is not interested in you. It is always hard to deal with rejection - dealing with it now myself.
Shake it off and focus your attention on something else.
Sounds a lot easier than it is, trust me, I know!

thanks guys. took your advice and just waiting for his reply and i'll update to let you guys know how it goes

well we're definitely going out again. i'll se how it goes this time and decide whether or not its worth pursuing. thanks again for the advice!

quick update: we went out for lunch and then back to his place and made out loads. happy ending for now!
