Really want a boyfriend but....

Joey, I felt almost the same way except I think I'm too skinny.)

Yeah, i'm a scrawny li'l dewd. People have always been very rude to me about this: When I take my clothes off in front of someone i'm about to get it on with, they're very open about saying "You'd look so much better if you worked out," or "Dude, you need to eat. . .I could throw you around easily." Hell, even when I used to go to restaurants and order dessert, the waitress would tell me "You could use it; You're a rail."

All i'm wondering is: If that same waitress told someone "You don't need to order dessert; You're a fat cow," would she have been able to keep her job? I doubt it.

I'm really unhappy with my body.. i have manboobs and tbh im not fat but recently lost quite a bit of weight. I thought I'd be more happy now but tbh I'm not

Every time I have sex I have to wear a t-shirt and stuff.. in fact I don't even like being touched cos I'm scared they might feel how fat I am and not like me anymore.. help please?

Easy, you have lost weight but have man boobs. You need to lift weights and tone up/gain muscle mass.

Hitting the gym with a routine that focus on this will be ideal. 3 times a week will do it.

Google and/or look for the men's fitness, men's health etc sites, they have some workouts there depending on what you are looking for. ( fat loss, toning etc)

good luck

When you find the right guy he will not care if your body is perfect or not..He will love you just the way you are..I say this because I felt the same way you do and I still found some one that loves me and 3 yrs later we are still together...

This is exactly what I was trying to say! In my opinion, a guy should love you for who you are. (*8*)

Your body is part of who you are. OBVIOUSLY physical attraction is part of "loving you for who you are." Now luckily what people consider attractive is not entirely uniform, but also obviously there's a pretty general consensus.

But that's beside the point. The OP isn't happy with his body, so he should do something to change that - FOR HIMSELF. Telling him to ignore that because people only "love you for your insides," doesn't help one bit with his issue, nor is it strictly reality. Being generally fit is healthy, it helps with your confidence, your self esteem, and that - plus being generally fit increases your chances of attracting guys.

That's just life in the big city.

^ I agree.

This isn't about other people. This is about the problem the OP has with his own self-image and the fact that he and he alone is in control of that.

If he gets comfy with the idea of being out of shape and some guys loves him and it doesn't matter, life will be perfect.

But until then, the OP needs to get in there and do the work and accept that he's in control of his body, it isn't in control of him.

Problem is, being skinny as a rail isn't looked down upon like being fat is. The people that say that to you probably don't mean any harm against you while people who call others fat know that it will hurt the person's feelings because society hates people that are fat. Being too skinny could be damaging to people, I am not saying it can't, but being too fat is much worse.

Well, people in like. . .high school will make fun of you any way they can to try to hurt you as much as possible; That's their social game. Whether you're fat; skinny; short; tall; a nerd; popular; black; pale white; a virgin; a slut etc. . . It's basically the same shit. The problem is? Many people never mature past the high school mentality.

And let's face it: America is one of the fattest societies on the planet. If you're a little chunky, then most adults won't say anything to you about it directly to your face. However, if you're a skinny adult man, then you're viewed as unhealthy and weak. Fat people have a ton of understanding and support in losing weight (The Biggest Loser is a hit TV show, dieting is a billion-dollar industry, they put Jenny Craigs in strip malls all over the country etc), but if you're skinny then people just laugh at you and leave it all up to yourself to try and get in shape.

In Conclusion: If you think fat people can't get laid, then go on Xtube and try to find real videos of couples fucking who AREN'T fat. I dare you.

All those millions and billions of dollars are pretty much conclusive proof that people are far more uncomfortable with being fat than they are with being skinny.

Nothing becomes a billion dollar industry with no market for it.
