Reason some of us don't live in wintry zones

Recently they said Florida was the only state without snow on the ground. Even Hawaii had snow on it's mountains, but your map does not show a crazy winter.

How long ago was this map?

It seems to indicate a recent weather event since northern Alaska is brown but we all know it's winter (unless the Arctic warmth is really hitting hard over there).

It's probably inaccurate either way cause if Dallas is in white, then Chicago and St. Louis should also be white.

And Florida should be in all brown because it was warm last week.

I never could figure out WHY people live in some of the most REMOTE and COLD places...

Reminds me of a saying...

Cattle know why they stampede -- but they ain't a talkin'...

All I know -- is that I'm LEAVING the COLD NW (Seattle) tomorrow morning and headed to MIAMI!!!

:):):)

If that map has each state divided up by counties, then new mexico is all sorts of fucked up.

Oddly enough, here in Oregon hasn't been bad this winter in terms of snow.(at least in the valley) Just lots of cold and some rain.

Here are three pics of Lake Shore Drive in Chicago. The drivers of the cars that you see were stranded for over 12 hours! Eventually, the cars were towed away, but what a mess. Last two pics were taken near my place. The snow was much worse than the pics would indicate.

Be careful for what you wish... old Chinese proverb [-X

Thats what I was thinking lol. It may seem cool until you are stuck on the highway in your car, or your power goes out and you have no heater.

I don't have a car, and the city is more entertaining when it's in chaos.

Car shuffle board...
