I just moved to Portland, and there's this huge video store with an amazing gay/lesbian-themed film section.

Angels in America is Other good gay films are Get Real and Boy Culture. Dunno if they have series as well at your video store, if so you should try out Queer as Folk if you haven't seen it. Both the British and the American versions are good.

The Trip (I love Larry Sullivan. I love reading his Myspace blogs. He's really down to earth, which makes me love the movie even more. I hope that doesn't me sound weird, lol)

Yossi and Jagger (extremely short, but beautiful in all its shortness. Definitely would have been happy with more though v_v)

Beautiful Thing

Eating Out (It's fun and sexy. Good if you want a light movie. I don't recommend the sequel though. It has no plot, and leaves you wondering what happened to make it such a flop).

Loving Annabelle (If you want to be a dissector, it's a lesbian flick, but great in its entirety)

Hmmmm.....Raspberry Reich is also pretty decent, despite the fact it can be considered a comedic porn flick. It has some pretty hot scenes, and yet still is a decent comedy with some interesting ideals (or at least to me, considering I'm not really much of a political person).

Meh, I did originally watch it because I saw the screenshots of him, and was hoping it would be as decent as the first, but even with him and his prosthetic penis (or at least that's what I've read) I don't recommend watching it. A person might as well save themselves the couple of dollars renting it and pull up the scenes on Youtube or something.

Oh, I also watched Small Town Gay Bar, which was a pretty decent documentary regarding two gay bars in very rural areas of Mississippi.

I've seen most of the films mentioned and a good chunk of them aren't very good at all. It's a matter of personal taste, for sure, but in general I wouldn't recommend many of the films being suggested to you, OTP.
